NEW SITUATION

'Hey! Is this lady really your lover?' At Mai's home. In addition to looking at Mai's study, Kai was also chatting with Belhimer in his head.

Since the two of them were linked by a Master-Servant Pact, Kai had the power to break their telepathic connection entirely, but he was also enjoying the conversation.

"Yeah! But it is she who tends to call up on me when I am needed. Plus, she really is an open-minded lady and seemed to have some kind of influence working behind her, but I really did not know anything about it."

While his desires were being satiated by occasionally having sex with Lady Lena, Kai never attempted to force her to reveal her secret. Instead, he saw her as a surprise package full of surprises.

"Hmm! Is that how this works?"

"Yeah! That is how it works!"

As Mai's mathematics problems were solved, she started to help out her mother with the cooking, while Kai was left in Mai's room waiting for the lunch to be prepared.

'This girl!' Looking at the scattered clothing, no one from the surrounding area would be able to guess just how great of a scatterbrained angel their angel was.

Kai began helping her straighten up the clothes she had lying around, but as he did so, he discovered a letter inside her clothes and picked it up, which caused the cloth lid to open and several more letters to fall out of the pouch.

"Haha! She really is popular, but that is to be given as a female lead." Kai had just collected them when Mai entered the room and found Kai calmly collecting the dirty clothes and letters.

"Brother Kai! Please let them go; I will collect them now." While saying that, Mai quickly threw Kai out, who did not even get the chance to say anything before he was thrown out of the room, and smiled while looking at the door.

"Haha! I got thrown out by her, huh?" Lady Lena happens to be passing by as she teases Kai a little before walking toward the dining room, as she happens to finish cooking the food and is taking them to the dining room.

"Let me also help you." Kai jogged by her side and started to help her carry the dishes a little by little, until the little girl Mai was done picking up all the messy clothes in her room and walked over to the dining room.

"I will help out by serving." She also joined in with them as they all sat by the dining table and started eating the lunch, which tasted really good as always.

"Then I will be leaving." Kai asked to leave early because he had a lot of work to do. Mai and Lena Lady were very adamant that he stay, but they also understood that Kai was very busy and accepted his promise to return the following day.

"Sure, I will be there!" Before heading out, Kai mumbled something.

As he moved a little quicker in the direction of his house, he sensed the same presence beginning to follow him as usual.

However, since Belhimer was with him, he felt a little more confident in handling that situation.

'He is weak, but he is not something that can be killed through guns that you have until you aim at the eye with point blank range.'

Belhimer was a magus, and his mana sense has it's own depth, as he was able to perceive the thickness of the enemy's skin and determine most of his strength category.

"Do, spellcasters from your world are all equipped with such mana sense." Without doing anything and just exerting a spell to get such in-depth knowledge about the enemy, it is truly terrifying.

Because of this, Kai was genuinely curious as to whether or not the world of Belhimer contained many spellcasters of this type.

"Hmm! Mana sense can be cast by every spellcaster in my world, but using it to grasp such detail about the enemy is only a skill that few in my world were able to do."

Belhimer replied after pondering a little, as he told Kai about five more spellcasters who were able to do something similar to him.

'Also, can you walk toward that direction, It seemed there are many dead spirits around there, and I can use them to increase my strength a bit.'

Kai looked in the other direction and found it was a building that was in the construction phase and seemed to be a little gloomy from his sight.

In the meantime...

A shadow atop the building was looking at Kai, and as his grin spread from ear to ear, the face that was covered in hairs revealed a cunning glint within his eyes.

"Heh! He seemed to have forgotten about me, but that is also good and well. Now I can kill the first witness to my killing spree and can finally apply for the organization."

The man's body began to take on the appearance of a hairy beast as the moonlight fell on it. He began to tremble, and his muscles all began to expand until his bones began to change as well.

Hick!

A sense of dread appeared in Kai, who had walked inside the abandoned building. When the massive claw struck the thin barrier of air, Kai did not have time to dodge and also seemed to be quite composed. However, it was too late, as a slender human figure with great strength delivered a strong blow to the werewolf guy's body.

'Gah!' "Undead call, Ghoul!" With a muttered expression, Belhimer turned to face Kai, who seemed to be staring at a pale man about his age whose eyes appeared to be painted silver with black circles around them.

'It seems it is a great spot for me to gain more powerful underling under me.' Belhimer looked at the building while Kai felt the ghoul guy was someone he had seen before.

'Wait, isn't he from the side class of Mai.' Kai muttered, and along with that, a slight, terrifying glint appeared within his eyes. Thinking about the possibility that Mai could be in danger, his body started to erupt with chills from his past life.

'We can look into it.' Belhimer looked equally furious as the boy in front of him; after all, he shared a past self with the boy, and when he turned the boy's body into an undead ghoul, he also inherited the memories of the child, particularly the memories of his death.

The werewolf man was having a hard time accepting reality as he charged at full speed to punch the new kid, who had appeared out of nowhere.

But each time his fist connected to the guy's skin, all he felt was the solid response of hitting a rock, along with the freezing chill that had been radiating from the kid's hand.

"What the hell are you?" The man stopped and turned to face the ghoulish child while asking a question.

"Well asked! He is a ghoul with strength and a buffer type, so his fortification comes from strength and agility, but somehow his body has mutated due to the environment he died in by freezing inside the water."

While Belhimer appeared extremely content as usual as he began to blabber to the man the essential details of the ghoul, leaving Kai somewhat dumbfounded, he also considered how he should be used to it by this point.

"Ghoul! But that kid is standing like a normal human, plus ghouls tend to be created by vampires, and he did not walk on two feet but on four limbs."

Kai's eyes shone, as he could tell from the words of the guy that he had met things like ghouls, but according to his description, it is a completely different species than what Belhimer has created.

"Oh, that must be the inferior kinds, I guess. After all, those with no magic potential tend to turn into one of the inferior kind if the procedure used is a primitive breakdown process."

Belhimer appeared astonished as he described in further detail the steps involved in turning someone into a ghoul using bloodletting and injecting techniques.

"But those techniques are really old, plus the risk is very high, so it could only create inferior quality, while what I used was a magic equation to change the body organs and induce my own magic within him."

Looking at the Belhimer proud expression, both Werewolf and Kai had a hard time holding onto their sigh, though his upright, outspoken personality was really likeable as a friend.

"Just so you know. The child's speed and strength are unmatched by any wild blood that you could even scratch because he can use mana to strengthen his bones through his own blood, turning them into blood bone jade."

During the final sentence, Belhimer experienced a tremendous amount of stress that he had to deal with. He moved away from them and gave Kai a strange look before raising his hand in surrender.

"I really do not wish to die yet!" The guy spoke while looking at Kai, as he could tell that Kai was the one who was ordering Belhimer around and could be the main boss on the site. So, after this, whether he could live or die was something that Kai could decide.

"We are not here to murder you, but I want to know everything about the brutal death of the child in front of you. And Belhimer, with whom you had spoken, will likewise provide you with favorable circumstances."

Kai made the decision to let the man go because, in addition to being safe, the werewolf guy could never hurt him and might even be able to provide Kai with some useful information about the world's underworld.

"Sure!"

"Then! Let's have a little chat!"
