My eyes flickered open in the vast emptiness of space, surrounded by an infinite void. Stars shimmered in the distance, tiny pinpricks of light against the dark canvas. The silence enveloped me, a profound stillness that echoed in my mind as I floated, weightless and alone.
I opened my mouth craving oxygen like I always do when I come to life, yet nothing entered, what did I expect I was in the vacuum of space, a normal person would have passed out without oxygen, but I was anything but normal after all who comes back to life after dying.
As my eyes adjusted to the strange phenomena of space my eyes located a source of light to my left, something we like to call the sun, as I turned my head to the left I saw 2 celestial objects one being the sun and the other a dark orb, not too close to the sun nor to far.
The planet was so dark It felt as if I was imagining it, if not for the angle I was at I would not have seen it. I could vaguely make out a swirling pattern seemingly a sand storm made of black particles, resembling a swarm of insects.
I noticed a faint blue planetshine from behind me so I twisted my neck as much as I could. Beneath me a breathtaking sight, if I could breath, of an seemingly endless ocean not a single landmass in sight .
I then twisted my neck to my right and I caught sight of a magnificent emerald planet it was a strangely unnerving sight albeit beautiful. Unnerving because there was not a single spec of colour visible on the planet, there seemed to be no other colour except green, like a green quartz crystal sphere .
As I continued to look in that direction I could make out an icy white planet just beyond the green planet and on it's surface I could make out a hulking creature its body as white as the surface it trod upon, its arm hanging limply in front of it with its back arched as if it was carrying a great weight on its back. If I was in my right mind I would have been in awe or shock, After all imagine how large the creature had to be to be able to be seen from space so clearly that it could be described.
Behind this massive beast a dark mass was following at a fixed distance. This dark mass reached from the very top of the planet to the very bottom, spliting the world in half.
My mind had somehow managed to process all of this yet no thoughts wanderd my mind.
I spent a minute floating in space as I looked around, before proof of my mortality began to take effect.
Due to the lack of oxygen entering my lungs my vision had began to blur, with darkness creeping in from the corner of my eyes.
I began to feel a bubbling sensation in my body, starting from the extremities of my limbs and moving towards the center of my body.
As the liquids In my body boiled, my body began to bloat, the organs within them expanding, deforming my body until I became a writhing ball of flesh.
As quickly as it started, the boiling stopped and ice began to form on my body.
The extreme changes of temperature, caused me an unimaginable amount of pain.
I let out a bloodcurdling scream yet not a sound was heard in the void. The pain of my body distorting was incomparable to the pain of being dropped thousands of meters. But eventually my body stopped feeling as the blood within my body froze.
It seemed as if some cruel greater being wanted me to suffer pain far worse than death since I was still conscious. A normal person would have become unconscious within a few tens of seconds in space , yet here I was still somewhat conscious enough to feel my body expanding and my blood boiling and freezing.
There my body floated enveloped in the warm planetshine of the four planets, as I once again slipped into the darkness.
