Chapter 166 Reunion
Colin and Lily soon arrived in City A, and using [Aura Vision], they quickly located Alice as well as an unfamiliar aura. Worried, Colin quickly flew towards the city's hospital where he found Alice at the top floor, as well as a short woman with green hair, red eyes and pale skin. She looked very similar to Bartus, but Colin could tell that she wasn't only a tier 3, so they weren't the exact same race.
"Colin!!!" Alice shouted when Colin flew through the window. She quickly embraced him and he hugged her back, as she sobbed quietly.
"I missed you." She said and her fangs extended and she tried to bite him, but her fangs weren't able to pierce through his clothes. She looked at him with a confused look and Colin gave her a triumphant smirk.
"What's wrong with your clothes?" Alice asked confused
"Oh nothing, I just changed them before arriving. Now, why don't we talk about you ignoring my order and going to City B." Colin said with a dark smile and Alice took a step back.
"Synthia needed my help, we both know that those priests aren't worth much in a fight." Alice said
"That's true, but their wasn't much you could have done either, a Corpse Lord is a tier 4 creature and a powerful one at that. There isn't anything you can do since you are just a tier 3. And unlike Synthia, you don't have a golden shield to protect you from demonic creatures and two tier 4 Angels on their way to save you." Colin scolded and Alice pouted and turned away.
"Awww, you two are so cute." Lily said with sparkling eyes and Alice finally noticed her.
"Who are you?" Alice asked with a frown
"I'm Lily Eros of the house of Lust, and I'm a High Daimoni." Lily said with an amused look on her face and Alice turned around and gave Colin a look.
"What?" Colin asked when feeling Alice's stare.
"Nothing." Alice said and turned away
"Who are you?" Colin asked Mina, not dwelling too much on Alice's reaction.
"I'm Mina of the house of Greed, I'm from the Bartus Guild." Mina said quickly, a bit afraid of Colin after seeing his strength. Even from City A, they could feel the large amount of demonic energy and see the huge explosions, and judging by the fact that they could feel the shockwaves from there, she knew she had no chance of surviving a fight with him. And she didn't like those odds.
"So you are the little Demon that has been spying on us." Colin said with narrowed eyes and the others turned and looked at Mina.
"Y-yes." Mina answered nervously
"And you sold the information to another guild." Colin said, if Mina was the one that was spying on them and the Bartus Guild wasn't the one helping Dracos Black, then that could only mean that another Guild made the map.....or Bartus was lying to him.
"I-I may have exchanged some information with another Guild." Mina said nervously
"Exchanged information, then." Colin said and took the black box out of his storage ring.
"What the hell?" Alice said, jumping in surprise
"I'll explain later." Colin said and took out the maps from the box. He opened the one with the towns and a part of the forest circled in red.
"Do you know what these circles mean?" Colin asked and Mina slowly nodded her head.
"The marking indicate the breaches in the barrier that separates the underworld from Earth, they also represent possible places where stable portals leading to the underworld may develop. The Abbadon Guild, the one I traded information with, wishes to somehow monopolize the portals so that they can charge the other houses and Guilds if they want to enter Earth. If you ask me, this is a bad idea, the Demon Kings will not stand for this and this will most likely lead to a huge brawl." Mina said with a sigh
"She's right, the amount of portals appearing in the underworld is way too many for one Guild to control, not to mention that they are spawning in the territory of other Demon Kings. Although, this might be good for you, if everyone is busy fighting each other, you'll have time to strengthen your family." Lily added
"I guess you're right, what about this one? I figured out what all of them mean, except for this one." Colin said, pointing towards town O which was shaded completely red.
"That place huh, the reason it's shaded red is because it's too dangerous at the moment, it has been overrun by monsters from the Red Isles. A portal opened there a while back, according to my contact in the Abbadon Guild, and out came all kinds of monsters from the Red Isles, they managed to put a barrier around the area, but I doubt that will hold for long." Mina replied and both Lily and Colin nodding their heads, Lily because she understood completely and Colin because he understood a few things, but Alice was completely clueless.
"What are monsters? And what is the Red Isles?" Alice asked confused and Mina was about to answer but Colin cut her off.
"As much as I would love to know as well, I haven't taken a bath in a few days and I really wanna take one." Colin said
"I'll come with you." Lily said and both Alice and Colin looked at her
"No." Colin denied
"But I don't know how to use the stuff in this realm." Lily pouted
"Alice can show you, right?" Colin said and turned towards Alice
"Yep." She said and glared at Lily
"Oh and here." Colin said and gave her a cursed regalia, along with the last storage ring, leaving him with only two regalia's left.
"What are these?" Alice asked as she stared at the two rings
"A cursed regalia and a storage ring. Don't worry, Lily will show you how to use them." Colin said and went to find a shower. Alice, Mina and Lily also left to find a shower of their own.
