Chapter 173 Training(3)

"Not bad, but you're gonna need to continue training if you want yours to be as powerful as mine." Lily said as she looked at the damage done by Colin's attack, Colin nodded his head and continued his training. He slowly infused more and more aura into his demonic energy, whenever he felt any pain, he would stop and allow his body to adjust to the excess amount of demonic energy before adding more.

'He's improving pretty fast.' Lily thought as she could see his aura being slowly sucked into his body. Although not a large amount of his aura has been infused in his demonic energy, she could tell it would take him around a month to get to the level she was at, whereas it took her over a year.

"You should probably stop now." Lily said and Colin immediately stopped, his entire body was covered in sweat and he felt incredibly fatigued, but he knew it was worth it. He could feel a stronger, more potent demonic energy flowing through his veins and he knew his attacks would be even stronger than before.

"What should we do next?" Colin asked eagerly

"Now, I want you to go and get me lunch. Even though demons can go a while without food, we should still eat when given the opportunity. I'll be waiting in the hospital." Lily said and flew back over to the hospital.

'Seriously.' Colin thought, but complied anyway. He activated his [Stealth] trait and flew into the forest in search of beasts, after Master Foustus' rampage yesterday, most of the beasts in the area were killed, while the others fled to other areas of the forest, which means that Colin would have to fly very far to find any beasts at all. He flew past K town, and just as expected, their weren't any beasts anywhere near there so he decided to fly deeper into the forest. The landscape of the continent was set in such a way that the 10 cities and the 6 towns formed a crude circle around the forest, close to the edges of the continent, but still with atleast a few miles of forest seperating them from the ocean, except for M town which had a port and was mostly populated by sea explorers and fishermen. But the town was probably as dead as the others, there were also mountains on the continent but they were few and most of them were at the edges of the continent.

Colin soon found a small group of demonic deers and swiftly killed them and stored them in his ring. Thinking that he had enough meat to feed all three of them, Colin decided to fly back to City A but before he did, he decided to make a quick stop in L town, which was a few miles from K town.

'As expected, it's still intact.' He thought as he looked at the undamaged town, as they did with K town, the undeads in fhis town seemed to have wondered away, looking for living prey to turn. Colin landed on the roof of a building and took out one of the maps from his storage ring and looked at it, before smiling.

'This place is perfect.' He thought as he looked at M town, this particular town was a great distance away from it's closest town which was N town, by Colin's calculations, it would take him half a day to fly there from City A. It was also a two day distance from O town which was supposedly filled with monsters, better yet, it was surrounded by water on one side and a mountain on another. The mountain was probably filled with cursed ores by now, and the waters, Colin just hoped that the marine animals don't get legs and come onto land. But they could probably brave the dangers of the sea and see what kind of resources are down there. But Colin had a bolder idea.

[Hey Bartus, how much do you know about human technology?] Colin asked

[.....Listen kid, I know you were a human, but I'm sure you know that it is rude to disturb someone on a pleasant afternoon.] Bartus' irritated voice sounded in his head.

[It is also rude to trick someone, but that didn't stop you from almost getting me killed.] Colin retorted and Bartus sighed

[I don't know much about human technology, I've only been in this realm for a week after all.] Bartus replied

[I'm sure you're a quick study. I'm planning to move soon and I'm taking your Guild with me, the distance to cover would be too much to cover if you don't.] Colin said

[Oh, and where exactly do you plan to move to?] Bartus asked

[M town.] Colin said

[Hmm, that makes sense, it's protected by both mountains and the sea, which makes it hard for anyone to attack unless they have wings or the ability to fly. Of course, it will need some fortifying, but I'm sure my Guild can take care of that, of course, we are going to need resources for that. That's up to your house's job.] Bartus said

[That's not a problem, but I'll need you to help restore some of our technology. You might even be able to improve it with demonic energy.] Colin said

[I'll see what I can do, but I can't guarantee anything.] Bartus said
