Chapter 294 Colin vs Skorn(1)

"Fine, but on one condition." Colin said

"And what would that be?" Askalad asked

"If I win, I want all your subordinates." Colin said and Askalad looked at him in shock

"No way am I going to promise that." Askalad said while gritting his teeth in rage

"You wish for me to give you all my subordinates and my allegiance if I lose, yet you will not promise the same if I win. How shameless." Colin said with a glare and Askalad glared back

"Fine, if I win, then I get to choose five of your subordinates as my own. Is that acceptable to you?" Colin asked

"Yes, that's acceptable." Askalad said with a confident smirk

subordinate if he loses. His family members will also become Askalad's subordinates.

"What's this?" Askalad asked

"Assurance that you will keep your word." Colin answered with his arms crossed and Askalad gritted his teeth before gritting his teeth, before accepting the contract.

[Kill that bastard.] Askalad ordered Skorn and he simply grunted in response. Colin opened his [Demonic Inventory] before placing his hands inside. Taking his hands out, his hands were covered in obsidian black gauntlets with blue fingers that glowed with power. When Bartus asked him what kind of weapon he wanted to be made out of the Wendigo Elite's soul crystal, he wanted to say a sword, but then he thought back to his fight with Shuma. She completely outclassed him when it came to using a sword, and he was better at hand to hand combat, so a gauntlet seemed like the best choice.

"Ready?" Askalad asked Colin

"Ready." And as soon as those words left his mouth, Skorn disappeared from the spot and appeared beside Colin, his axe inching towards his waist. Colin quickly blocked with his gauntlets and he was immediately sent hurdling deep into the forest, crashing through trees, but he didn't slow down at all.

"Colin!!!" Alice shouted when she saw Colin disappeared deep into the forest, and Skorn disappearing after him. Askalad had a pleased expression when he saw this and couldn't help but laugh, causing everyone inside the town to glare at him, but he didn't care. Colin was flying through the air, when Skorn appeared above him, his axe raised high, surrounded by a terrifying red glow, before he swung it down. As the axe approached, darkness suddenly erupted from Colin's body, and spread outwards, but Skorn continued his attack undisturbed. The axe crashed into the ground, causing a deep slash into the ground up to a few meters away, but Skorn frowned as he didn't see any blood on his axe.

The darkness coalesced behind him, and Colin swung his fist towards Skorn's back, but Skorn was fast, spinning around, he blocked the attack with his hand. As their hands made contact, a loud book was heard and a shockwave spread throughout the entire forest. Looking at Skorn's forearm, Colin could see solid red energy surrounding it, blocking his fist. Not wasting any time, Skorn swung his axe, but Colin quickly backed away.

"You're pretty strong, how the hell did a guy like Askalad enslave you?" Colin couldn't help but ask, Askalad didn't strike him as strong, atleast not as strong as Skorn. So how the hell did Skorn end up that guy's subordinate.

"That guy didn't capture me, his father, the Duke of Enelysios did. That old bastard defeated the head of my clan and captured my kinsmen. I was subordinated to that moron. How low I have fallen." Skorn said in a sorrowful and angry voice. Hearing this, Colin gained a little bit of knowledge about Skorn's situation as well as a bit about the underworld. If he had to guess, Enelysios was a place on the pride ring, and Askalad's father was the ruler of this place. Maybe it wouldn't be such a good idea to kill Askalad, but then again, the little bastard gave him little choice.

"If you don't mind, let's speed this up. I can't stand the gaze of that bastard and would much rather go and enjoy the affection of my female kinsmen." Skorn said and Colin smirked. Skorn's entire body was covered in red armour and his weapon was covered in the same red glow. Colin was now feeling a bit pressured seeing this, but he was also feeling excited. He didn't know if it was the demon instincts, but he was looking forward to this battle. He landed on the ground and took a battle stance, and Skorn quickly charged at him.

"Hellfire Domain: Playground of the Infernal King." Colin muttered and a dome of blazing hellfire surrounded the two of them. The domain was no larger than fifty meters, and wisps of black and red flames floated through the air.

"Now this is getting interesting." Skorn said with an excited smile
