Chapter 302 Preparing for War(2)

To the north, in City H, explosions rang out as they were Ush'nar and his clan were under attack. Large reptilian crocodile like monsters with three heads, two on their neck and one in their chest, three arms on each side and two tails attacked them. These monsters were common in the marshlands of the sloth ring and were known as the polycephaloids, due to them having a number of extra body parts, which only increased the more they evolved. They were a grotesque abomination, a mockery to the reptile demons and they hunted them down whereever they found them.

"Cursed abominations!!" Ush'nar roared as he charged the enemy with his broadsword, which was almost two meters in height. He was fully transformed, with thick green scales and small spikes running down his spine. He has evolved since he met Colin, and now, he facing off against the leader of the polycephaloids. Their leader was a huge crocodile, atleast three meters tall, with five heads, three on his neck, one on his chest and one on his stomach, with four hands on each side, three tails and spikes running down his spine along each tail. The leader blocked the blade with one of it's arms, but the sword easily cut through, causing green blood to spray out. The two heads on either side of the main one on the leader's neck, opened their maws, releasing a torrent of red hot flames.

Unafraid, Ush'nar rushed forward, his body glowing with purple energy and he thrust his sword forward, releasing a thick jet of water, extinguishing the flames and sending the monster flying backwards. The members of Ush'nar's clan cheered as they fought their own battles, inspired by their leader's fighting prowess and spirit, they fought even harder. Ush'nar for his part didn't seem happy, he looked up into the sky, where he could spot two weird monsters, or maybe demons. One of them wore a white mask, with a pair of pink butterfly wings on it's back and wore a large black gown. The other looked like an orc with black feathery wings on her back with single black horn on her forehead, and carried a dangerous looking black scythe.

'What the fuck are they?' He thought, as he sensed their auras, which seemed to be a mixture of holy energy and demonic energy. He soon turned his attention back to the leader of the polycephaloids, who got back to its feet and charged at him.

"It seems everything is going perfectly, my liege." The 'monster' with the pink butterfly wings said

"Yeah, yeah, let's just hurry up and get this over with. We need to rip away at the dimensional barrier from this side. Let's just destroy these bastards and get on with it." The orc-like monster said, while looking at the battlefield bored

"Be patient my liege, we need to stick to Alphas plan." The 'monster' with the pink butterfly wings said

"Yeah, yeah, kill all the humans, demons and angels up here, and collect any 'fragments' up here. Find away and attract the angels in heaven and capture, and or collect, as many as their corpses as possible. I remember, I'm just saying that it's a boring plan. There is nothing strong to fight." The orc like monster said with a bored expression. The monster with the butterfly wings looked down on the battlefield, before making a suggestion.

"There is a demon by the name of Colin, he might be able to give you a challenge. He was able to defeat four angels while he was in the same tier as them. That was almost a month ago, he should have made it to tier 5 by now. I believe he is in M Town, you can take care of him while I take care of the angels in City B." The 'monster' with the butterfly wings said and the orc-like monster smiled broadly.

"Now where talking. Take the death feys with you and I'll take the Lamias." The orc-like monster said with a smile before flying away. The butterfly winged monster looked at her back for a while before flying away in the opposite direction.

Near the walls of M town, loud explosion resounded as a patch of land was ploughed out from the sheer force of two people's clash. Skorn and Colin fought as if they intended to kill each other, connecting powerful strike after strike. Skorn created gauntlets with [Energy Weapon Creation] skill and Colin used his gauntlets, [Obsidian Crushers]. A powerful explosion accompanied each strike of Colin's fist, leaving bruises all over Skorn's body. Skorn dodged most of the strikes, but the explosions still did damage if they were close enough and by this point, his ears were ringing, but he still delivered some powerful strikes of his own, drawing blood from Colin.

"You need to make your explosions more concise, target a single area instead of making it spread out, that will do even more damage!!!" Skorn shouted as he could barely hear anything

"Yes!!!" Colin shouted as well, as he too, could barely hear anything, before he rushed in once more.
