That night, under the silence of the night, four beasts moved through the forest towards Askalad's camp. Skorn had told them where it was and with an order from their king, they quickly moved along with their queen.
[Everyone be careful, there's no telling if they have scouts nearby and they have other vampire nobles in their family as well.] Alice warned them while running across the ground in the form of a white cat, her fur glistening in the moon light.
[Yes my lady, we will be cautious.] Beatrix said, as she traveled in the form of a wolf. Alice have gotten pretty close to the vampires in the family as they could easily relate to each other, since they were the same race. She has also gotten fairly close to Beatrix as since they were similar in age, they held similar interests, and she was fascinated with human lifestyles.
The four of them traveled through the forest, and they soon arrived at where Skorn said the camp was. They could see smoke in the distance and they quickly slowed their pace, and engaged various stealth abilities before continuing.
"That's not going to work you know." A voice came from behind them and they froze.
'Damn it, already.' Alice thought while gritting her teeth, before slowly turning around , only to see lioness staring down at them while licking her paws. A leopard and a purple fox also appeared from behind the tree and Alice realized that all of the were vampire nobles as well.
[We attack on three. One, two...] But before she could get to three, the leopard appeared behind her and pressed her paw on her back, pinning Alice to the ground.
"My lady!!" Esme, Beatrix and Henry shouted in unison as they rushed towards the leopard, but darkness suddenly wrapped around their bodies, except their heads, and they struggled to get free. They were about to activate their affinities, when the fox suddenly appeared infront of them, waving his two tails.
"Shhh, be quiet, we don't want to attract any attention." The fox said and they looked at him in surprise, wondering what he was talking about.
"You guys are from that other Demon Viscount's family right, the one who defeated Skorn?" The lioness asked and Alice blinked in surprise
"Yes." She answered and the lioness nodded to the leopard and she took her paw off Alice's back.
"I want to make a deal. Your leader is obviously strong, he was able to beat Skorn after all." The lioness said
"What kind of deal?" Alice asked wearily, still not fully trusting these vampires.
"We need you guys to kill Askalad with as little casualty on our side as possible. Everyone here has been enslaved to that bastard most of our lives, and we wish to be free. And most of us would be more than willing to join your family as well, because, as I understand it, you guys are currently lacking in members." The lioness said
"...I can't promise that. We don't know when we you guys will attack, or just how strong Askalad is. This was could end bloody withput such information." Alice said
"Three days at high noon, we plan to attack in three days and Askalad isn't as strong as Skorn. He can't even use his family ability yet." She said, and Alice hesitantly nodded her head.
'Three days, huh. Not a lot of time, and Askalad being weaker than Skorn also matches what Skorn said.' Alice thought.
"Alright, we'll leave and talk to our leader." Alice said and glanced over at her companions trapped in the darkness. The lioness nodded her head at the fox and he released the three of them.
"By the way, what's your name? My king would want to know who to thank when we win." Alice said
"Patricia, the leopard over their is Yasmin and the fox is Damion." The lioness said and Alice nodded her head, before her and the other three left.
"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Damion asked, once they were out of earshot
"Better than being fed to the warthogs." Patricia sighed and looked into the darkness where a pair of red eyes was watching them intently.
