The test

"Arizona Phoenix Manson," the patron of the Saragon orphanage shouts up to a young beautiful pre-teen girl with luscious black hair and gorgeous body, that's me by the way. I'm 12 years old and I live in the bubble #1. There are 15 main bubbles and over a hundred small ones all over the face of the moon. The bubbles are made of a special material to keep oxygen in and gravitational pull normal. They even allow us to plant food and keep us warm, and with their naturally being water in the moon we have all the supplies we need. And the smaller the number the bigger the city, we have made several more bubbles in the last 1,999 years but #1-10 were built by the scientist who originally planned the move to the moon. Making them massive by comparison to the others seeing as we didn't need to start building more bubbles till after 50 years of already being on the moon.

As I rush downstairs I wonder whether I'll get a proper breakfast this morning or if I'd go hungry till lunch at school. When I get down there all the bacon, eggs, and sausage is gone so I settle for an apple and some toast. after eating the toast, I head back upstairs to get ready for school. I put my apple in my school bag and get dressed in uniform, which is a white button up shirt with a black jacket with my school's ensemble the Uroboros.

A black and gray plaid skirt that must reach fingertip, white stocking that reach the knees and black pair of slip on shoes. After that I open my book on the human anatomy and read till chapter 9 from chapter 7 before putting the book mark in the book. I got up and put the book in my bookbag being mindful of the apple in there before getting up and heading back downstairs in order to catch the bus.

I attend the Uroboros academy the top academy for the first bubble I had tested in as top scoring student from the 70th bubble where I was initially born. I was given up by my parents at birth and under went the testing for school placement at the age of five as well as the preliminary physical for mutations.

Mutants are the remnants of the radiation from our time on earth and as time has gone by more and more have been born due too exposure too interstellar radiation. Although the domes stop most sometimes leaks happen especially in lower domes like where I am from.

Although early mutations often made one mentally unstable the human body is a miraculous thing and has adapted too make use of the energy too perform incredible feats, all those with mutations are sent off planet too the orbit base for training and safety as they are used as the main exploration and colony creation.

Most refuse too leave the moon due too uncertainty else where but those with mutations have gained immunity too the radiation allowing them too travel with less risk and need far less then normal humans too survive.

Most mutations are detectable at a young age but they can lay dormant for years the oldest known age for a person too discover to have been a mutant is the age of 45.

Truly you can live nearly your whole life and never know until it suddenly erupts.

As time passed test have gotten better and more accurate and the human body adapted so quickly that most present by the age of 10 while some present earlier and later the general age between 8 and 12 are the times with the highest chance for the mutations too occur.

We will go too the testing center for our final exams as well as our yearly physicals testing for signs of mutations.

I sit in the 2nd seat on the bus as others climb in after all those in the bus are 12 years of age and will be trying too increase there social position by attending better schools, as long as they are above a 6th grade citizen they are guaranteed not too be sent to a colony planet under forced immigration.

10th class citizens are criminals with death sentences usually used as cannon fodder and test subjects on new planets.

9th class citizens are petty crimes often used as menial workers on colony planets with limited rights and low protection, although better then tenth class they will never escape their class level.

8th class is those who aided and abetted but did not perform a crime or helped a severe criminal, they act similar too eight class but more protection and can go up a class if they provide significant help but never more then reaching 7th class.

7th class are the lowest citizens with the worst grades and unable too provide much beside manual labor, they have right too decide which colony they will be sent too and are given normal treatment and guarantee food, housing, and medical aid.

6th class are the ones that did sub par but still better then 7th class and can send there children back too the main planet too learn and potentially stay, they have the highest status on colony planets short of the mutants that play the role of military. Acting like the government and having the right too make laws on the planet as long as they do not contradict the laws of the main planet, they are the kings on colony planets.

5th and 4th class are the lowest class allowed too remain on the main planet although some choose too go to colonies most remain too act as assistants and aides too the higher classes, from this class onward you can increase your class as long as you provide a useful invention like the one too invent the holograms where originally 5th class but became 1st class after their invention.

3rd are the middle where they are low grade scientist with more privileges like better food and housing provided and one free deaging serum provided too those in this class.

2nd class are head of project and usually highly sought after having graduated from the best schools with the top .001 percentile they are the first too be scouted out of schools and the highest one can achieve without a invention too back you, they are provided two guaranteed deaging serums.

1st class is for those that invented a highly used item and military generals who often are the only mutants allowed on the main planet at any point no matter what class the mutant has. They are given three deaging serums the max a human body can stand before dying due too the poison in the serum.

There is one class above it the 0th class with only one person the high governor in it who has right too over rule any decisions and make any military call, it is said the high governor is given too the strongest and smartest mutant too give mutants better say in the capital despite them not living here. They claim since they can't live here but must live under all our laws and rules they deserve the right too the highest position too guarantee their rights aren't being trampled on.

Of course as a mutant you are given different rewards for what class you are in but the higher the class the higher their military standing is.

As the bus pulls in front of the testing hall we embark based off seating order with those in the front released first me being the fifth off the bus and walk up too the admission hall scanning our I.D. chips in the back of our necks too get attendance.

The ship is only used for government I.D. like this so we only use it twice a year, now and during the winter check ups too prevent potential abuse in the orphanages as well as check for mutations.

Walking into the test hall I was assigned I sit in the third row second seat too the right on the outer edge of the room closer too the door, as an hour passes students come in and when the bell rings a person in police uniform comes in closing the door behind them.

The room is full and no one has missed the exams, of course missing the exam would mean losing ones right too schooling on the main planet and would see one booted to a lower school even by colony planets standard until there next test but they can never return too the main planet no matter how well they test in the future unless they can gain a 1st class citizenship,

The proctor sits a clock on the table showing 5 hours, we all pull up our holographic test and once the clock starts we are able to begin our test.

I finish the test with only half an hour too spare but better then most in the room who are clearly panicked due too not being far enough with such little time left, when the clock rings out everyone one stops as continuing would lead too the same results as if you didn't come.

We file out of the room in the order of seats with the first row then second with the one closest too the door going first.

We go down the hall in silence and enter the crowded area of people waiting in front of examination rooms for their physicals, some can be seen as clearly nervous and others no worry at all.

We are given food too eat while waiting and half an hour passes before those of my group are even started too be called.

I am one of the earlier ones too be called, entering the room they take blood and perform the mental scan too see how active your nervous system is. Leaving the room I go too the waiting area for me too be called in for the results when a scream is heard and the sound of shattering rings through the hall, a person wearing an Uroboros uniform is attacking the police men and where he punches a massive dent is formed in the metal table.

He is a potential top talent but will lose that now that he is a mutant not surprising he may lash out but it is stupid too fight it like this as all it will do is risk you losing your already diminishing class level.

I watch as the fight continued and the person is finally subdued before going back too waiting in silence, my name is called and am given the all clear taking my safe slip and heading too the auditorium too wait for other too finish so as too head home with the transport bus.

Bang

The sound of shattering glass and screams as a bomb goes off on the ceiling the cracking sound before the ceiling collapses straight on top of us, I watch it come and pain before blackness claims me.

I twitch awake too the call of the patron of my orphanage, "Arizona Phoenix Manson," I shake my head as what I had dreamed of made me nearly retch.

I calm down and head down stairs too the eerily familiar spread and the matron in the same spot as last time I eat a toast and apple like in my dream before heading back upstairs too read my book, I freeze as I read from where I left off.

It was the exact same as what I had read in my dream down too the last word from the 7th too 9th chapter but I hadn't read this so how was this possible.

I run downstairs ignoring my food and barely remembering too grab my bag.

I get on the bus and head out, entering the same classroom and going too the same seat I can feel my panic as the fact I had lived through all this before begins too make me panic, the test is identical and I get through it in only 3 hours with me having too recall some answers and redo some problems due too not remembering.

I sit at the medical room and see the boy who went crazy earlier entering the examination room, a face I do not remember and a place I hardly ever come yet it was all familiar in a distorted sort of way.

I enter the examination and leave getting lunch while waiting on the scores as those that I originally finished with come in, they do the examination and begin too also wait on there results.

The boy from last time explodes once more and I am called too get my results that show I am not a mutant, but then what is going on.

I leave the room but instead of heading too the auditorium I go too a officer sitting on the side and say, "Someone is going too blow up the roof of the auditorium, you may wish too send more people too catch them."

He looks at me in a less then pleased manner and sneers when he says, "Such joke isn't funny we are guarding here well and there is no chance of that happening, I will send a report on this too your school for punishment. Now go wait with the rest and don't go causing panic."

I refuse too return to the auditorium and tell him he will have too drag me there and he instead drags me too the punishment office for incitement of panic and refusing an officer.

I sit there and tell the people who ask me the same thing but they say I am not a mutant so spreading false panic is improper until thirty minutes later a boom is heard and screams, everyone panics and heads too the site leaving me behind as they go.

I wait but luck is not on my side as someone enters the room dressed in the terrorist uniform for the mort sickle gang he looks surprised at someone here but simply shrugs and says, "You have very poor luck."

A knife to the head was far quicker of a death then being squashed by the roof.

I once more awaken in my bed at the orphanage too my name being called and a swear under my breathe.
