Courtroom summons

At 8 p.m. that same day, at the High Court of Main-City-4, Chief Idris Emmanuel was present to witness the hearing of a case in which he was accused of a series of crimes. The crimes he was accused of were embezzlement of government funds, coveting of properties, murder, kidnapping and torture, bribery, and corruption. Three judges sat at the bench to preside over the case. Chief Idris and his two lawyers sat behind the defendant's table. The prosecuting lawyers numbered two, and they sat alone at the prosecution table. They had more than fifty victims seated in the public gallery behind them.
