Niklas received a video call from Gabriel.

“Where are you?” Gabriel enquired.

Niklas furrowed his brows. “Is there something you want me to do?”

“No, no, no, there is nothing. I just wanted to know where you are. It is a matter of your safety; that is why I asked.” Gabriel sounded nervous.

“My safety? What about it?”

“From my trusted source, I received word that there is a bounty on your head. The reward for finding you is four hundred thousand Earth Kredits (400,000 EKs). The benefactor of the bounty goes by the title the chief. Did you happen to cross paths with anyone that goes by that name?”

Niklas entered into his thoughts, contemplating what to do with this information.

“Niklas. Niklas.”

“Yeah?” Niklas came back to reality.

“Who did you offend?” Gabriel enquired.

“Thank you for the information. It’s best that you avoid anything related to this information and don’t do anything stupid.”
