a massive scale, involving credit cards, property, banking.
As the recent Banking crisis clearly shows, the World is
vulnerable to these flaws, using the instant responses of
the internet to destabilise the whole system, and through
it, us. The governments of the World explained it all away
as just market forces, but then, they would say that,
wouldn't they? In reality, as shocking as it was, one man
orchestrated our downfall.. For those of us who want to
know, this whole story is a blueprint of how real fraud
works behind the scenes in all its fascinating but shocking
detail.

The storms of spring were ending; the sky began to take a more cheerful aspect, days were warmer, the sun smiled on the crowds who once more filled the City parks. 


Among this melee of voyeurs and lovers, the Chief and Susan sat on a park bench, enjoying a lunchtime sandwich together. The days of the last major fraud seemed almost forgotten now along with the rainy season just gone. Even though it had only been a matter of months since they last worked together, both of them had worked on many individual projects that gave a sense of distance to it all. 


Like most professionals, they did not give a great deal of thought to a task which had been successfully completed and which was now behind them. If they thought of it at all, it was to remember how and when they fell in love.
