A Fight To The Death

Sophia had just witnessed a fight that defied reason. Tony Blackwell was a pompous jerk but a seasoned black belt in Taekwondo. He could handle a dozen trained fighters on his own. In front of Victor, he was like a child throwing a tantrum.

Victor had moved so fast in defense and offense that he made afterimages, making Tony seem as slow as a turtle. Was Victor really human?

At that moment, Sophia was glad she could touch him. Their arms were linked, and her body pressed into him as they walked out of the restaurant. However, Victor's mind was elsewhere.

"Victor?"

"Yes?"

"Can you give me a bike ride? Since Claire and Haley got one each?"

Victor raised an eyebrow. "So you know about that, huh?"

She shrugged. "Well, it was not that difficult to figure out. I could recognize your shoulders from their Inst@gram pictures."

He sighed and nodded. "Alright. I can drop you off at your home. Ask your driver to return the car by himself."
