THE DINNER

"It's was finally time for dinner, and Rex just sent Diana a Text saying they will be there in five minutes. Diana came out of her room after refreshing herself and changing her clothes. She met Elley on her way to the Dinning room.

 " Nice outfit Elley, you look really beautiful in that blue grown Diana commented. I know sis, I always look good in any clothe I wear Elley bragged. A simple thanks you would have done better sis Diana said. Elley smiled, and you also look good in your black gown too Elley commented. Unlike some persons am going to say thank you Diana said smiling and Elley Burst into laughter.

 "Diana and Elley reached the dinning room where dinner had been served. Madison and Madam Sia has arranged everything. Ding-dong the bell rang informing them that they have arrived.

 " They are here, Madison said, everyone take your sit she added. Thank God the dinning table is a big one with eight seats. Three on both sides and one each on the width making it eight seats.

 " In a few seconds the door were opened and one of the scout lead them in the dinning room. Good evening Mrs Madison Rex greeted. Evening dear, how was your day She responded. Am fine Mrs Madison Rex said Good evening Miss he greeted Madam Sia, Good evening dear, please call me Aunt she said. Rex nodded, Hi Diana he said and you little one he waved at Elley she smiled back at him.

 "Good evening everyone, one of Rex sisters greeted. Am Lois, Rex older sister she said with a smile. Yes she my older sister Lois, and these are Chloe and Nora my junior sisters, they are twin he said.

 " well even if Chloe and Nora are twin, one could easily tell which one is Chloe and which is Nora although they have a little resemblance thought but they are not identical.

 "Nice to meet you all Madison said, please take your seats she said pointing at the dining table. Everyone took their seats. Rex was setting opposite Diana and Elley was sitting close to her. Everyone started eating. So when are you guys going back to Country A? . Madison asked .

Well aunt we would be going back In three days times because we needs to take care of my Dad's company, Lois answered. so soon? Madison asked, Yes aunt Rex replied. Alright then, and about your Dad, I have heard alot about him but I have not really seen him face to face just his photos, Madison added. Well aunt my Dad is really busy taking care of his other companies in different countries, so his hardly comes to Country A because me and Rex are the ones that handles the company in Country A, Lois explained.  Wow that nice, Madison complemented.

 " What about you Diana when, are you going back? Rex asked. We just came Rex, but I think it will be weekend she answered.

 The dinner was getting really interesting, they were laughter everywhere. Rex sisters are really cool and funny especially Chloe and Nora. Lois was telling them about the silly things Rex did when he was little. It's was actually very funny to Diana until Madison started talking about Diana when she was little. 

 " Ok mom you know I was little when I did all those things Diana said. Everyone burst into laughter.

 " Madison and Lois were discussing and laughing, Diana and Chloe were talking because Chloe was sitting at her right and Elley at her left, and Madam Sia and Nora we're talking about random stuff and they seem to be catching along really well.

 " Rex was steering at Diana laughing with his sister Chloe while sipping his juice because they were done eating and everyone were having their juice. she looked so beautiful laughing, he should be him laughing with Diana he thought.

 " Rex is literally the only person not engaged in a conservation, he would have talked with Elley but she was busy playing a game on her tablet. No he won't allow Chloe ruin his chance of having a personal conversation with Diana before they leave.

 " He pretended to cough but nobody even focused on him. This is not going to work he thought. Rex decided to kick Diana's leg opposite him to grab her attention.

 " Diana's leg were a bit hard to reach because the table is very big but Rex still managed to kick it. Rex kicked the first time but Diana was still talking to Chloe, and Elley looked at him with a confused look. he kicked the second

time, but she was not responding. Elley looked at him again supprised.

 "Hey Rex, Elley whispered grabbing only Rex attention. what is it dear Rex asked. It's my leg you've been kicking like a ball since and not Diana's Elley said with a smile. Oh am so sorry Elley Rex whispered embarrassed.

            " Just as Rex was about to start a conversation with Diana she interrupted. Mom I and Chloe want to go to my room I want to show her something Diana said. Alright dear no problem Madison said. Rex was just looking he doesn't even know what to say anymore. He brought out the idea for the whole dinner stuff so he can spend some quality time with Diana since he just have a few days left in Diamond vill.

                "Rex looked at Diana and Chloe walking away to Diana's  room laughing. Oh how he wanted to squeeze Chloe's mouth that she's using to laugh with Diana. It should be him there laughing with Diana not Chloe.

                " I want to use the bathroom Aunt, where can I find it Rex asked quickly so he can use the opportunity to catch up with Diana. He's not going to miss this chance to spend time with her.

          " Do you really want to find the bathroom or someone's room Lois replied teasingly. Everyone burst into laughter. Please Lois stop teasing me I just want to use the bathroom he lied, praying In his heart that Madison tell him the direction to Diana's room. Alright Rex the bathroom is in this direction Madison said pointing left, You just walk straight then corner to your right you see the bathroom she added.

                  "After climbing the stairs, the third room on your left is Diana's room Madison said with a smile. Thanks Aunt Rex replied with a smile. Immediately after Madison gave him the direction, he climbed the stairs. He didn't even use the bathroom.

                  " Following Madison's direction he knocked on the door. Few seconds later Diana opened the door. Rex you are here? she asked surprised, she wasn't expecting Rex to follow them.  

Sorry for disturbing I came to tell Chloe something  important, do you mind if I come in? Rex asked.

                " Of course not Rex, come in Diana said giving him space to pass. Rex entered inside Diana's room. The room was really beautiful and well arranged. Rex was admiring the beauty of the room when his eyes fell on Chloe on Diana's bed watching a movie on Diana's laptop he guessed since they didn't come with any laptop. So they came here to watch a movie he thought.

                " Chloe, Rex wants to speak with you Diana said. That was when Chloe realized that Rex was in the room she was so focused on the movie that she didn't notice when he entered the room. What is it Rex? Chloe asked. Can I speak with you for a second He pleaded. Fine Chloe responded.

           " Chloe went to meet him, what do you want ? she asked. Rex Drew her to the edge of the room so Diana won't hear that conversation. What  do you think you are doing Chloe? Rex asked. What do you mean Rex Chloe responded with a raised brow.

           " Can't you see that you are ruining my moment with Diana he wispered. I brought out the idea of a family dinner so that I can know Diana better and spend some private time with her but you are ruining it Chloe he added. So tell me is it my Fault that Diana is closer to me than to you bro? Chloe asked.

              "Is everything right guys Diana asked because she sensed that something is not right, Everything is fine Diana you don't have to worry Rex reassured her with a smile. Everything is fine Chloe added. If only she knew that she was the cause of the argument.

            " Please Chloe just go downstairs and be with Lois and Nora I want to have a private moment with Diana before we leave Rex pleaded. I will do anything you ask of me please Chloe he added. Anything, Chloe asked to be sure of what she heard. yes anything Chloe Rex repeated. Alright I will help you Mr lover boy, but don't forget your promise. she reminded. Yes Chloe I won't, go now we don't have time we will be leaving in less than thirty minutes He said.

             " Fine have heard you, Chloe said. Diana I want to go and tell Nora about the movie while you download the remaining episodes, Chloe said . I can come with you Diana responded. They is no need Diana, just be downloading the episode we will be back in a few minutes Chloe said smiling.

            ' Before then Rex will keep you company she added and winked at Rex. Me ok I will keep you company before they return Rex said innocently. Alright Chloe I will wait Diana said. Alright Diana, and with that Chloe left leaving only Diana and Rex in the room.
