Chapter Three Part Five

Every man wants to rule like the sun. Every man came to this earth with the same desire, tyranny. There were those who tried to hide it, but it showed throughout their lives. Every man wanted control

of their own lives. Every action was guided with the utmost caution in order to retain this control. The cycle of the world continued to move like a carousel with every action leading to the same outcome every year. There are some men who tried to believe that they have come with no purpose of control, but they are merely boys. They must understand that at some point every man must take control of their own lives and better the human race with every action that they commit. Every action continued to commit the same crime which is murder. We killed a version of ourselves with every decision that we make. The world that we live in, tempted us to commit the same actions that brought us to the pits of despair because it itself, has the nature of carousels. It spinned the same way every day and night, and every year, we returned to the same spot that we were last year. No amount of control can stop that, yet every man has tried to spin the world in the other direction, for good or bad, for tyranny or freedom, for safety or danger.

The bullet hit him right in the side. He began bleeding the same amount as the red dust on the mountain. His side began to feel pain and he dropped to the floor and started gripping the snow and dirt in his hand with pure agony. Eric came racing over.

"Man you got me this time." Jose told Eric.

"What choice did I have?"

"Was it worth it?"

"I don't understand."

"Killing Val, was it worth it?"

How could he have known? Eric tried to hide it as best as he could, but there was no secret that could be kept from Jose..

"Where did you learn that?" Eric said.

"I can just tell sometimes."

"No, nothing was ever worth killing her." Eric then broke into tears. "I didn't want to do it."

"It should have been you."

"I think about that every day."

"You are right. You can't die now. Too many have died for the sake of you. Do me this one favor though."

"Anything." Eric then grabbed Jose's hand.

"Kill the syndicate." Jose then gasped and like a breeze, he left this world and no one knew where he went.

Eric still knelt beside Jose's corpse holding his hand. He was on the verge of chaos and self destruction, but then with all of these emotions he dropped Jose's hand, and it fell and broke into a million pieces.

There was a look in his eye, filled with rage, his eye turned to blood red and Jose's vengeance sank its teeth deep into Eric's soul and poisoned him with an evil so great and terrific no man could ever stop him from fulfilling his promise.
