On The Way to The Battlefield

A month had already passed. Lucious was ready to go into battle and he's got armistas blessing. He went to the imperial Palace to seek the emperor's approval for him to go into battle. On his way he saw the one and only princess amaris. And she saw him too. She gave him a bright smile and walked up to him.

Lucious: Your humble servant greets you princess amaris.

Amaris: No need for formalities Duke.

Lucious: Your Highness knows me?

Amaris: Of course who wouldn't know you? You've caught my attention at the banquet too.

Lucious: Really your Highness? Forgive me as I didn't greet you at the banquet. I didn't think you would even notice me.

Amaris: It's alright! I understand you very well and a lot of people also wanted to talk to you.

Lucious: You looked very beautiful at the banquet your Highness. Gold suits you very well.

Amaris: Thank you. My father is really excessive though.

Lucious: I can see your father the emperor favors you a lot princess. He loves you very much.

Amaris: I guess so. I think I remember your name. If I'm correct your name is lucious right?

Lucious: Yes your Highness. I am Lucious.

Amaris: That's a very good name. The name lucious means "Light" or "Luxurious" right?

Lucious: You are correct your Highness. And the name amaris means "Promised by God". It seems you really were promised by God as you are the emperor's one and only daughter.

Amaris: You are really sweat Duke lucious.

Amaris: What are you here for anyway lucious ? Are you looking for someone?

Lucious: Actually I was looking for your father the emperor. I came to discuss about the rebellion.

Amaris: Rebellion?! There's a rebellion in the empire?!

Lucious: I guess you weren't infromed. Yes there is a rebellion in the empire. That's why your brother isn't in the capital.

Amaris: No! My brother left to venture the land's not to go to a rebellion!

Lucious: Your father sent your brother to hold off the rebellion because the general is wounded. I came here to go and take place as the new general.

Amaris: Oh... Is that so?

Lucious: Yes. Is there something wrong?

Amaris: It's nothing... When you go there can you tell my brother to keep safe?

Lucious: Of course.

Amaris:(*´︶`*)♡Thanks!

They said their goodbyes and lucious told amaris to not worry too much. Lucious went to emperor kishendren to seek his permission to go to battle. The emperor immediately agreed and sent him on his way. Lucious bid farewell to the grand Duke and left. On his way lucious thought of amaris. He can't believe the princess was very humble and sweet. He actually enjoyed their conversation. He began to develop an interest on the princess. He was curious on how she acted. And how she behaved. If she was a spoiled brat or just a nice and humble daddy's girl. Nevertheless he had to focus on suppressing the rebellion. So he he just rushed to the province where the rebellion was happening.

At the capital princess amaris was upset that her brothers and her father lied to her. But she thought of her conversation with lucious. She was so happy she got to talk to one of the youngest and one of her fathers best allies. She found lucious very gentle and kind. She felt that he was genuine. To her he was very approachable. It also didn't hurt that lucious was a very attractive man. He had an even better build than his brothers. It was clear he took really good care of his physical appearance. But he was really smart and charming. Lucious was also different from some of her suitors. A few of her suitors sleep around. And many of them like to womanize. Lucious was a very quite mine. He wouldn't talk unless spoken too. She was curious on what was going on in lucious's mind. She wanted to know him even more. She liked his presence. She wanted to be his friend. But unbeknownst to her there was another boy the same age as her that liked her...

Prince Rahim Alistair Tymon Imperial,

The second eldest son of his majesty the emperor. He was known as the very quite son of the emperor. He is very quite and barely speaks unless spoken to. He likes to read books a lot and was known as emperor Kishendren's calm and gentle son. He wasn't that close to his siblings at all. He didn't like being with people but instead he just wanted to have his peace. He also didn't like spending time with amaris. He didn't like her at all. He found her very annoying. But he truly cared for his siblings. He just never liked socializing at all. Out of his siblings he was the one who argues most of his father. He just felt that his father was pushing him around too much. When his father sent him to the province where the rebellion was happening he had no problem at all. He didn't even get mad. In his mind he could actually learn more about combat once he's at the rebellion. Once he received the news that lucious was coming he was quite excited. He saw lucious at the banquet but he didn't want to bother him. He was just very amazed with lucious. He wanted to get to know him. He wanted to learn from him. He was already 21 years old and lucious was only 19 but lucious had more military experience than him. That's what he wanted to know about. But he also wanted to befriend lucious because he heard lucious likes to study and read books. So he waited patiently for lucious to arrive at camp. And lucious did soon arrive at camp...
