Blood that Overflowed the Palace
Nyx finally decided to write lucious a letter with hints for him to know she doesn't feel safe anymore...
"Lucious,
My dear brother I miss you already. I've been wondering how you've been lately. Are you doing well now? When I left the palace was in chaos and I wasn't able to help you that much... Luckily I arrived safely back into my empire. My husband sure does treat me well. I just hope your safe back in the empire. I hope you and amaris enjoy being together. Remember to write to me... I love you brother! "
He ordered a messenger hawk to be brought to her from her to send a message to his brother. If all went well the message would arrive to lucious in a few days but if she's unlucky then she might be in trouble once again. But there was nothing she can do now but feat Tomorrow. She laid down on her bed as she slowly fell asleep from all the tiring events that took place that day...
A few days later...
Prince Rahim finally woke up. He was still in the imperial infirmary but all he saw were the imperial physicians with him. He wondered where his father and sister were and why weren't they with him.
"Where's Royal father? Where's amaris? Why aren't they here to see me...? "
"Your Highness... His majesty the Emperor and the princess are currently in prince Damien's Chambers. They've been there since the day of the incident to nurse him back to health as soon as possible... "
What the Royal physicians said broke his heart into a million pieces. He was very upset that they weren't there when he woke up and they didn't even visit him once he woke up...
"Is that so? Do I have no importance to them whatsoever? They didn't even send a message for me?"
"I'm sorry prince... But there's nothing at all. All they ordered us to do was to take very good care of you. "
As each word that the physicians spoke was like a knife being stabbed into the princes heart. He was still too weak to even get up. So he needed to recuperate first. On the other hand prince Damien was being taken care of his majesty the Emperor and her Royal Highness princess amaris. They looked after him day and night waiting for him to wake up. But the prince was far from recovery. He barely survived his stab wounds and the Emperor feared that his crown prince, his heir, his son would die. But he didn't lose hope. He watched the prince grow up and he knew the prince wouldn't just die like that...
Flash back...
" Armista look... Meet my son and heir... My one and only Damien."
" My little prince... My beloved Damien you've grown into such a man! "
" You are not just the crown prince. You are my son. You are my flesh and blood. "
"Damien... My son... I love you okay? Please remember that and always be careful... I'm proud of you. "

Kishendren: How much longer do you think your brother needs to rest before he wakes up?
Amaris: Father we can't rush him to wake up...
Kishendren: I know... It's just I fear he rests for too long and forgets about us once he wakes up.
Amaris: That's unlikely now... I'm sure he'll remember your grumpy personality out of everyone's.

Kishendren: I know dear... Aren't you tired?
Amaris: Not at all... Why do you ask?
Kishendren: Nothing much. Have you spoken to lucious yet?
Amaris: Lucious! Oh dear I forgot about lucious! I haven't spoken to him since the incident !
Kishendren: Same here child... I haven't spoken to him since I told him to take charge of the court. But earlier this morning I received a report.
Amaris: Why? Did lucious do something? Is he hurt? What happened to him?
Kishendren: Amaris... Lucious has fallen ill.
Amaris: What?! What happened to him?!
Kishendren: The reports stated lucious collapsed while they were discussing state affairs... Apparently lucious also sustained injuries from the incident with you brothers and he didn't seem any medical help from our physicians. On top of that lucious had trouble with sleeping... It was said lucious felt it was unsafe for him to rest now that the imperial famy is vulnerable.
Amaris: But... I never saw any injuries... How could I not notice any...
Flashback...
Once the soldiers arrived lucious was already covered in blood as he was trying to stop prince Damien's heavy bleeding while prince Rahim was also unconscious. But underneath all that blood was...

Amaris: F-father... I need to go... I need to go find lucious.
Kishendren: Go on child... I'll watch your brother don't worry.
The princess then rushed out of the imperial Palace to go and find lucious. She looked for him everywhere in the Palace but he wasn't there so she decided to go to the newly gifted estate to her and lucious. Once she entered many servants greeted her. She noticed everything was made into her liking. But that wasn't important to her right now...
" Where is my husband? I've been looking for him."
"Your Highness he is in your marital chambers... He is just resting your Highness"
"Please lead the way... I am not yet very familiar with this estate. "
As amaris walked through the halls she felt nervous as she didn't know what to expect. But she eventually arrived in front of the chambers. She dismissed the servant and entered the chambers. And there he saw lucious in the bed asleep. As she slowly approached she slowly noticed all of his bruises on his hands. Even his chests had scars from being slashed by prince rahim's knife. And there she saw a deep wound in his stomach...
" It wasn't only Damien's blood that overflowed the Palace... It was also his from stab wounds! "
