Saving Toran

As I clumsily run through the corridors, I remember what Tolug said about not trusting Toran yet, so I decide to stop by the room we keep our weapons in, before getting a suit and helmet for Toran and heading her way.

I grab a shock collar meant to be used on prisoners, and take it with me. Then, I stop in another room to pick a protective suit for Toran. I struggle half walking and running to Toran's cell as the ship keeps moving violently. Once I make it to her cell, I slide the collar through the compartment I use to drop food for her. "Put this on if you want to get out. Hurry!" I yell with a shaky voice. My hands shake as well.

"What's going on?" She asks, worried as she comes to the small glass window, almost slamming into it. "I don't know, Zul is trying to do what he can", I say. "He cannot fly this big ship by himself, not if we get hit by a storm or worse!" She explains to me, looking nervous. "Can you help him?" I ask, hopeful. "Do you want me to help?" Toran sounds surprised and confused. "Of course! If you can, why not? I wish I had the knowledge to do so myself!"

Toran nods, looking pleased, while putting on the shocking collard. I show her the bracelet in my wrist; it will send an excruciating shock to her collar if she tries to do something phony after I decide to set her free. She grins. "Smart girl, I'm impressed", she says, while I send the suit and the helmet to her.

When Toran finishes suiting up, I open the cell and let her walk in front of me so I can watch her every move, for precaution. She struggles walking, so we help each other walk through the shaking ship. When we enter the control room, I get even more nervous, terrified of what Zul's reaction might be, once he sees Toran here.

"I brought you some help!" I yell out to Zul. He turns back to look at me and before he can say something, Toran sits down in one of the chairs next to him and starts pushing buttons and maneuvering with a small sort of steering wheel. Meanwhile, Zul doesn't know what to make of the scene before his eyes; all I know is that he looks furious when he stares at me.

"We will talk about this", he says to me with a serious tone, but I show him the bracelet, and somehow he calms down. Toran doesn't speak at all, and Tolug grins at me, pleased and relieved. Then, in a matter of minutes, Zul and Toran take total control of the ship… And eventually, the sirens and the flashing lights stop. The blurry, messy sky that showed through the windshield just minutes ago is clear now, and the ship travels steadily and smoothly, just how it's supposed to.
