~The Change~

As the days went by, Jack and Sarah began to notice strange things happening in their home. Caleb would often wake up in the middle of the night, screaming and crying loudly enough to wake up the entire household. Sarah would run to Caleb's room, but by the time she got there, he would be quiet and asleep again, as if he had never made a sound.

One night, as she sat watching Caleb sleep, Sarah noticed something odd about his eyes. They seemed to glimmer with a faint green light, and as she stared into them, she felt a strange sensation of unease wash over her. She shook her head and dismissed the feeling as just her imagination, but the feeling remained, like a cold hand on the back of her neck.

As Caleb's behavior continued to deteriorate, Jack and Sarah decided that it was time to take him to a child psychologist. They hoped that the psychologist would be able to help them understand what was happening to their son, and hopefully find a way to help him.

As they sat in the psychologist's office, Jack and Sarah recounted the strange incidents that had taken place since Caleb had come to live with them. The psychologist listened intently, taking notes as they spoke. When they were finished, he leaned back in his chair and looked at them earnestly.

"I believe that Caleb may have experienced some sort of trauma in his past," he said, his voice low and serious. "It's difficult to say exactly what, but the behavior you've described is consistent with traumatic stress. I recommend that you seek the help of a specialized psychologist who can help him work through his trauma."

Jack and Sarah exchanged a look of concern, knowing that their son was in need of help. They were determined to do whatever it took to help him heal, and they left the psychologist's office determined to find the best possible help for Caleb.
