"William Cole, I've brought your wife back home."
A young man emerged from a black BMW.
William Cole's wife, Ruth Dawn, also got out from the passenger's seat.
The man looked up, his gaze meeting with William on the second-floor window, and grinned: "Well, what do you say? Should I bring her up?"

"Brother Cole, do you have some time now?" Fury Wright asked.


William Cole nodded, "I have time, what's up?"


"I hope you can keep what's about to happen a secret from everyone else."


Fury Wright went on, "Brother Cole, I'm in trouble. On my way home just now, I was in a car accident. I barely made it back to the office. I asked my secretary to make me a cup of coffee, and who would have thought, my coffee mug exploded and cut my hand."


"I felt unsafe at the office, so I decided to go home. Foolishly, I got stuck in the elevator for over an hour..."


"Now, everything around me seems suspicious. Brother Cole, could you come over to my office?"


"This... alright." William Cole nodded in agreement.


After hanging up the phone, Ruth Dawn asked, "Who was that?"


"It's a friend of mine, he wants to meet up with me now." Since he had promised Fury Wright to keep it a secret, William Cole didn't tell Ruth the truth.


"The one who helped you with the bid?" Ruth looked at William.
