Chapter 100: The Proud Woman

After they left Spring Lake Villa, all the members of the Dawn family got into a Mercedes Benz van.

Seeing Ruth Dawn's distraught face, presumably due to the recent events, Eloise Torres asked with concern, "Darling, what exactly happened? What just took place?"

Ruth was reluctant to elaborate.

Under her mother's persistent questioning, she finally explained the whole situation.

Eloise slammed her hand on the table in rage, "That double-dealing scoundrel! It's outrageous enough he set us up, but he even ruined your 500 million contract."

Archie Dawn, too, wore a stern expression: "William Cole has gone too far."

"Dad, mom, just drop it." Ruth shook her head.

Dwright Brews offered a faint smile, "Ruth, I'm quite acquainted with young Mr. Chow from Grand River Real Estate Group. Should I give him a call? Manager Renald Chow would hardly dare to disobey him."

Archie and Eloise's eyes lit up, "Great, we appreciate your help, nephew."
