Chapter 227: What If, I Don't Agree?

A middle-aged woman was grabbing a little girl's hair with one hand while holding on tightly to a piece of gold jewelry with the other.

She turned to look at William Cole, "Who are you?

Mind your own business."

She looked at William Cole coldly, her tone filled with arrogance, "I must tell you, there are some matters you better not interfere with, or else you'll regret it."

William Cole let out a chuckle, "But I insist on interfering."

He stepped forward and broke the woman's grip on the little girl's arm, then placed the little girl behind him.

"Such a grown-up, is it honorable to rob a kid?"

The woman's husband stepped forward with a gloomy face, "Didn't you hear him?"

"What do you mean by 'robbing'? This gold jewelry originally belongs to my wife."

"That's not true, this is my mom's, my dad gave it to her." The little girl timidly shouted from behind William Cole.

William Cole looked at the couple, "Did you hear that? This jewelry belongs to her mother."
