A young man emerged from a black BMW.
William Cole's wife, Ruth Dawn, also got out from the passenger's seat.
The man looked up, his gaze meeting with William on the second-floor window, and grinned: "Well, what do you say? Should I bring her up?"

"What? Seriously?" A tremor of excitement passed through William Cole's body as he nearly dropped his bowl of fruit salad.


He stood up excitedly, then quickly said, "Okay, wait for me, I will be right there."


William placed the bowl of fruit salad down and dashed towards Thirteen Hall.


"William, why the rush? Can't you finish your fruit salad first?" Ruth Dawn grabbed his arm, stopping him.


William hurriedly explained, "The lab at Thirteen Hall found a potential antidote, it's already in clinical trials, I need to go check."


"If the antidote works, you and the child will be safe."


"That's wonderful," Ruth softly smiled, not as thrilled as William had expected.


Ruth smiled and shook her head, "Nothing, can you finish your fruit salad first?"


William was taken aback, then glanced at the bowl he had carelessly left on the table.
