The morning light fell in rays through the windows and slowly warmed her skin.
Isabelle had expected to wake to warmth. She certainly did, pressed into the broad chest of Phoenix.
The smell of fresh pancakes made her stomach growl.
Ah. Food.
A warm blanket she didn't remember wrapping up in covered her otherwise bare skin and protected her modesty while she stretched in place, wincing just a bit as she did so, still sore from yesterday's activities.
Food called to her.
It sang sweet promises of breakfast goodness.
She padded out into the dining room.
Lyov pressed a kiss to her forehead and nudged her into the chair as she made it into the room. "Eat. Tenshi melted enough of the snow that we can make it back to the palace today."
Isabelle hummed softly, lips pursed as she sat at the chair.
