Isabelle reached out and gently pet his hair. He nuzzled into her hand with a small smile, calming somewhat.

"This spice...what kind of spice is this? Something sweet? A bit of a kick..." Lyov pondered.

Octavian didn't comment. He'd simply begun looking at the menu with a critical eye.
