I'm not resisting bathtime, I'm clinging to bedtime

The snow stopped falling.

It showed no signs of melting, but the wind no longer howled and snow stopped piling up before it entirely blocked off the view of her balcony door.

Snowball looked adorable in a little ribbon collar and a tiny kitten tiara some maid had made and snuck onto him while she was asleep.

Her little kitten.

She yawned.

Stretched.

And wondered, very seriously, what had woken her.

She ran her fingers through her hair as she sat up in her bed, blinking blearily, and looked over at her cute kitten. "Mmh. And where are you going all dressed up?" She hummed and held up her arms to the white ball of fur.

The white ball of fur stared at her, eyes bright and sparkling, his pink nose twitching, little tail waving back and forth slowly.

"...Yes, I am awake...or close enough. Come here, silly kitten." She called out to him softly.
