Jazara leaned towards the pitcher of water on the table, pouring a glass and lifting it to her lips as she studied the people present at the table. Her eyes rested on Alexander, who stood somewhat apart from the others. Her eyebrows drew together and she lowered the glass with a faint frown on her lips.

After a few moments, she spoke again, her voice softer than before.

"It is fortunate, indeed, that you found the time to visit my humble manor. I never thought I'd have the opportunity to host the entire imperial family like this, even if I offered my manor for such use..."

She said with a wry smile, a hint of amusement coloring her tone.

Isabelle suppressed an urge to scowl at her.
