She sighed.
The storm had lasted the full two days. It had stopped briefly, at dawn, and then begun again, with an intensity that was frightening to behold. It had stopped again briefly during the mid-morning, before starting back up. And then again, stopped briefly at noon, and started once again.
Really, she felt like it was being excessively generous to say that it ever stopped in the first place, given she didn't even notice the latest 'break' at all, but Archibald seemed determined to count it.
She crossed her arms.
"You're saying the tournament can't continue?"
The man hesitated, drawing in a breath and grimacing.
"We have guests. Even an empress' wedding festivities can't go on forever, right?"
The man sighed. "You are correct, Your Majesty. It would be difficult to keep anyone-"
