New threat (chapter 11)

After Nate fell asleep Savage covered him with a blanket,his emotions were so chaotic and seeing Nate sleeping soundly something in him awakened,before he could lose his control and do something wrong he decided to leave,feeling very elated he couldn't stop smiling Nate's words kept on replaying in his mind,if someone saw him he would be suprised or think maybe he is posssed he wasn't the same person who walked with a expression like he was owing someone millions of money.He was unable to go to his room,he couldn't contain his excitement,it was curfew time and the students were all in their room,with a lighting speed he ran towards the forest after thinking for some time he decide to sneak out.Savage was standing infront of his father's mansion,he decided to go through the window,when Mr Russell heard some noise he vanished from his room and appeared on the window where Savage was."You heard me?,I thought your hearing ability is decreasing since you're already getting old" he said,he wasn't suprised seeing his father,he had expected it,Savage knew how strong and powerful his father was,if the was even the tiniest noise he was able to hear it,he had the best vision, hearing ability,he was the strongest and he had the highest speed,he could even teleport he was the strongest and powerful vampire even Savage couldn't match him,"I'm fine thank you,is that a way to speak to your own father?" he asked trying to intimidate him, but Savage wasn't scared of him,he slowly got inside,his father didn't get offended that's how Savage was,he will prefer to use the window instead of a door,he was used to it.

"Why didn't you come?" he asked "I was busy" Savage replied taking a seat in the sitting room,he turned on the tv and put on some music."Busy with what?,you knew how important today was?,I had to hard time convincing them the reason to your absence" "what was the use of being here?listen to you arrange my marriage like I'm some kid?" he asked getting angry,Mr Russell was suprised "what?I thought you were fine with it?" "Yeah I was but now I don't want to marry someone I don't love besides I'm still young" he said."Why sudden change of mind,how will I tell them you don't want to push through with the marriage,have you forgotten that you two will get engaged once you graduate?" "I never agreed to get engaged,this marriage was your idea not mine I'm sure you will know what to do"."Hey kid,don't you know how important this marriage is,have you forgotten the promise your mother made to them I won't let you bring shame to your deceased mother" he said angrily.Savage looked at him with furious eyes "shame?what shame if she was here she will be disappointed by what you just said,that promise was made long ago she will support what makes me happy" "what makes you happy?other than disobeying me?,you will get engaged after your graduation and that's final" he said.They didn't have a good relationship,they were similar cold,ruthless and prideful.Savage was once a cheerful boy,he was friendly and kind but when he lost his mother when he was young he changed completely it was hard to know what he was thinking,hardly showing any emotions and difficult to talk with."And if I don't?" he asked challenging his father "don't test me young man,what's wrong with you?did you come here to annoy me?","no dad,I thought of coming home to have some rest but it seems it was a wrong idea,all you care about is yourself" he said and stood up to leave " you are not going anywhere" he said and stood infront of his son."Try to stop me" Savage said and tried to run but his father grabbed his hand before he could leave "what you have was given by me,don't push me to lock you up in that room" he said gritting his teeth."I won't be suprised if you did that,after all you killed your own wife it won't be hard for you to lock up your son" he said,a painful expression showed on his face for the first time,Mr Russell hearing his son's words he let go of his hand,he looked at his son and sighed " that again,will you ever forgive me?" he asked,the death of his wife was still a fresh wound on his heart no matter how many years had passed he never moved on,he loved his wife dearly that he couldn't remarry,the three of them were a happy and peaceful family.When Savage was young there was a massacre of vampires and he lost his wife because of a mistake he made,ever since then his relationship with Savage turned bitter,they grew apart though they stayed in the same house they were more like strangers and once Savage was old enough to live on his own their distance increased."If you loved your mother and if you still do then you should agree with the marriage that was her wish before she died,as her son you should honour it" he said "I have always loved my mother,but I won't marry someone I don't love" "this is for your own good,with that cold attitude of yours who will be willing to marry you,you don't even have a girlfriend so please understand, she is a good girl,she will be the perfect wife for you" "I won't marry her and you can't force me.I have always let you make decisions about my life but not this time,who I marry will be decided by me and not you dad" he said,he run with a lighting speed and jumped through the window,his father was left speechless,he looked through the window there was tender and gentle expression on his face as he gazed through the window.

Savage was running heading towards the school,his father had ruined his good mood,he wished he could go to his villa but it was far,he couldn't run that far it was late and besides they had been warned not to use their strength and speed to go long distances to avoid someone seeing them,there were news of a new threat to vampires in the city.As he was running he heard some footsteps like there were people chasing him,he stoped and turned around and frowned."I think I saw one " said a masked man,the five people were dressed in black and had masks on,they were holding guns,"are you sure?" "I'm sure,do you think he heard us?","maybe where was he coming from?,do you think that school near the thick forest has some too?" asked one of the men,"we will find out,let's keep searching for those monsters" "let's go and report to boss" said the first man and they all swiftly left.The person they were looking for was above them,he was sitting on a tree branch looking at them and listening to their conversation,it's not like Savage was weak or a coward if he wanted he could have killed them five humans though armed were no match for him but he had his reasons,when he heard them mention the school he was suprised and knew what to do,he jumped from the tree and run towards the school.Savage stood outside Mr Smith's office and without knocking he got in,Mr Smith was reading some papers when he heard someone open his office door he looked up and saw Savage.

"Don't you know what time it is?" he asked with a raised eyebrow,"where is miss Alice?" he asked,"don't know" Mr Smith replied "call her here,there is something I want to tell you both" seeing how serious he was Mr Smith made the call and within a minute miss Alice joined them "what's urgent that you had me come here and Savage what are you doing here?" she asked taking a seat."They are here?" he said "who is here?" asked mr Smith "the hunters?" miss Alice asked and Savage nooded his head,both furrowed their eyebrows "did they see you?" he asked "no,they were running after me but I hid,they are suspecting that there are some of us here and you know what that means" he said seriously.Mr Smith looked at Miss Alice "we have to warn them,though those hunters are just humans they can't be underestimated I don't want what happened years ago to happen again,miss Alice you know what to do and Savage thanks for this we will be extra careful" he said,Savage nodded his head and left.He didn't expect things to turn out this way first he heard Nates confession,had a fight with his father and now the hunters were looking for them,he thought of how to relieve his stress and an idea popped in his mind,he will go to his room even if it's late,when he is around him he always felt peaceful.He went to Nate's room he knew the password,he got in and found him sleeping soundly in the same position,he changed his position and decided to stay in his room,this bed is too small for the two of us,he thought,he sat on the chair watching the sleeping beauty a smile appeared on his face, he was curious to see his reaction when he wakes up,he was becoming shameless.
