A date (chapter 32)

Nate woke up with his body covered with cold sweat,his heart thumping hard against his chest l,it took him a whole minute before his head was clear "it was just a dream" he said out loud sighing internally,he was grateful it was just a dream and not reality but he could help but wonder if he broke up with Savage if he would he tie him up and lock him up so that he doesn't leave him,he wasn't sure but now that he knew who Savage was, he couldn't help but tremble at the thought,there was a tiny voice in his head that kept on telling him that the dream would become reality if he dared to break up with Savage,he had a conflicting feelings in his heart,whether to find an excuse and break up with Savage or pretend like he knew nothing and keep on dating him,he didn't know what to do,he loved Savage with everything he got also Savage wasn't the only vampire in the school,even if he broke up with Savage would he still be safe?.

Nate couldn't go back to sleep afraid to have nightmares,he stayed wide awake until dawn,early in the morning students were packing their back ready to go home,they couldn't wait to leave the school premises, everyone was lively with smiles on their faces,most of them always anticipates the weekend where they would go home and enjoy themselves away from school,lectures and books,freedom was a sweet feeling and they enjoyed the two days freedom given to them.Savage stood at the administration block as usual a black car packed at the parking lot and a man walked heading towards him "morning sir" he greeted "morning" Lucas replied "I'm here to take you home" "I won't be going home there is something I need to do,car keys" he said stretching his hand,the driver looked at him confused,seeing the stretched hand he understood Savage's meaning he wanted to oppose but he couldn't dare,who was he to question his boss's son?,he handed the keys to him and without a word he left leaving the driver dumbfounded only he knew how much he cursed Savage for leaving him behind."Nate didn't you sleep well last night?" Jason asked "why?" he asked back "why? haven't you seen those dark circles under your eyes?" Jason asked frowning,Nate touched his eyes but he couldn't feel anything "are you going home?" he asked intending to change the topic,Jason knew he didn't want to talk about it so he didn't pry further "yeah.....last time I didn't go home if I don't go home this weekend I'll have an earful from my father" he said shaking his head like that thought scared him "ooh" come a silly respond "what about you?will you stay in the school all alone,Kate and Natalie are preparing themselves to leave,if you want we can go to my house my dad wouldn't mind" he suggested, Nate smiled feeling grateful for his friend's consideration "thanks but no need I'll be fine" he said,Nate didn't want to bother him,also he wouldn't feel comfortable staying at his friends place besides he had plans with Savage until now he was still considering whether to go or not to.

Jason didn't force him,after much thinking he understood he would never stand a chance but he was a little hurt with his rejection,he couldn't help but wonder if Nate wasn't close to Savage would he keep on rejecting him?,after chatting for a while he left leaving Nate all alone, after a moment Nate headed to the cafeteria to have his breakfast he was starving,the funny thing was that he kept on looking for someone yet he was afraid to accidentally bump into him.It was around 2:00pm most of the students were gone,the school almost looked empty with only few students left behind,Nate was in his room cleaning his room when he heard a knock on his door,his heart skipped a bit nervously he walked heading to the door hoping it wasn't Mr Smith he was still traumatised by the incident,he knew it wasn't Savage that's because Savage never knocked his door,since he knew his password he always got in.Savage stood at his door wearing black t-shirt,a black trouser jeans and black boots, with his pale complexion black suited him the most,it gave off a bad boy vibes adding to his charm,a beautiful smile plastered on his face "Savage" he called surprised,feeling his heartbeat increase,Savage stood at the door staring at him without uttering a word,confused Nate called again "Savage" "why aren't you ready?" he asked with a not so pleased look,Nate looked at him dumbfounded he didn't understand what Savage was talking about "what do...." "aren't we supposed to go on a date?" Savage cut him off, understanding his questions Nate felt a little embarrassed "you never told me when you would pick me up?" he defended "ooh.....are you busy?" he asked angry at himself for his carelessness,it was his first time dating he had forgotten that you inform your partner the time you will pick them to go on a date.

"No, I'll just quickly wrap things up and take a shower give me thirty minutes,come in" he invited,remembering how he had almost lost control when he saw Nate after he had taken a shower he hurriedly refused "no, I'll just wait for you outside, I'll pick you after forty minutes" he said,Nate smiled and nodded his head.After forty minutes as promised Savage knocked on his door, after a minute Nate opened the door,Nate wore a white and black stripes t-shirt,a white knee length short and black boots,his hair hand grown long with a strands of grey visible,his green eyes were clear and his lips were glossy after applying a lip balm,his exposed legs were thin and pale in short Nate looked beautiful,seeing such a beautiful sight Savage's eyes were glued to him,his breath caught on his chest,for a whole minute he didn't utter a word,he looked at Nate as if he was a bride wearing a wedding gown "I'm ready" Nate said, coming to his sense Savage cleared his throat "lets go" he said and both of the left.

Nate sat on the passenger's seat while Savage drove the car,he couldn't believe Savage owned such an expensive car,he knew his boyfriend was rich but this was over the top,the car was cool with eye catching interior,after two hours of driving which Nate tried his best not to fall asleep they reached their destination.Savage had driven them far away from the city,he knew his father had ears and eyes everywhere,he didn't want him to know about Nate not just yet,this place was the safest he could think of,the place was quite and peaceful,both got off the car and walked a short distance "Savage where are you taking me?" Nate asked curiously,he had expected Savage to take him at a expensive restaurant but this was unexpected the place looked good but deserted with tall trees sorrounding the area,Savage smiled "you will see" he said,after walking for a distance Savage led him inside a black gate he talked to a man who was near the gate,he seemed to be the security guard, guarding the property afterwards he was given a key "let's go" he said and Nate quitely followed him.
