Promises (chapter 39)

Savage stared at Nate for a while,with his increased heart beat and fidgeting with his hands he could tell he was nervous,he slowly raised his hand and placed it on his,he gave his hand a squeeze staring at him "I don't know more about witches but you can ask me I'll try to answer" he said his eyes full of love and tenderness.Nate forced a smile "I ...j..just want to know about them" he said avoiding Savage's eyes,Savage held his chin with his other hand and slowly turned his head to face him "look me in the eye" he said,Nate obeyed and stared into those dark eyes that could make one breathless,even at such situation he found he boyfriend handsome and breathtaking "you don't have to be scared,you have me,we're in this together,I promise to be by your side" he assured,those words were enough to melt his worries "witches are just like vampires but different,both are supernatural,each is categorised with the amount of magic they can wield,they usually wield different magic,I know some can wield fire,making unique and poweful portions,healers and many more after I learn about them I'll tell you" he said,Nate was listening attentively "are they evil?" he asked curiously,most people knows witches are depicted as evil creatures,in both movies and fairy tale,Nate couldn't help but be curious "there are two types of witches,the white witches are the most pure and powerful ones and the black witches are the evil and less poweful" he answered.

Savage kept answering his questions the best way he could, "what about me?" Nate asked the question that had been bothering him,knowing about all of these weren't as shocking as knowing he was part of it and one of them,that he was someone he wasn't,all over sudden he was no longer a human,changes do happen and everyone's faces changes after a while but the changes happening Nate found it hard to believe.After years of staying in the orphanage he had learnt on how to be independent,doing what's best for himself and always ready for anything,but this was something he wasn't ready for luckily he had Savage by his side "Nate you're different and special,you're born with the ability to wield forbidden magic which no witch is able to" he replied "but.....your friend said...I'm rumoured to be the destroyer...what if I end up hurting you or innocent people....what if I.." "sssh! calm down" Savage cut him short placing his finger on his lips,Nate felt his eyes sting but he held his tears,he had fears,insecurities and he was scared,scared of what he might become and what he might do in the future,Savage understood his fears especially if he knew nothing of what he was."What if I end up being a bad person?" he asked,"you won't,I truts you,you're a good person and nothing is going to change....you choose what you want to be no one will influence you" he assured,more than anything Nate needed someone to assure him,no matter who he was he was still Nate.

"I'll protect you,no one will hurt you,they will have to go through me before they get to you,no matter who you become I'll stand next to you,I'll never leave or abandon you" he promised,after that sentence Nate felt better,he had nothing to worry about as long as he had Savage on his side,even if the world was against him he had him on his side,Savage was willing to be by his side and protect him what's more could he ask for,he stared at Savage tears in his eyes "thank you,thanks for being in my life and thanks for being with me" he said in gratitude,Savage smiled "no need to thank me....I'm your man even if you turn into a demon I'll still be by your side" he said and Nate chuckled,Savage being on his side made him brave to accept himself,now he believed fate had brought them together his boyfriend wasn't a human and he too belonged to his world,if he was all by himself things might have turned hard and difficult. Nate's love for his boyfriend increased doublefold,staring at his handsome boyfriend he felt his heart beat increase "I love you" he confessed,Savage was shocked but quickly recovered his composure,the words sounded good to him,he felt like his heart had been touched by a feather,after a long time he felt warmth spread all over his body,he felt happy and lucky to have met Nate,someone who could evolk all the emotions in him,it won't be a lie if one said after meeting Savage he felt alive "I love you more" he replied making Nate's heart skip a bit.

At a dim light cell,a woman fell on the ground,she looked a little old with grey hair tied into a bun,her pupils turned white and her face twisted painfuly,her eyes widened and she began culvising on the floor with her mouth wide open,a man completely covered with black clothes appeared in the cell and stared at the woman with irritation but his eyes held curiosity "what did you see?" he asked the woman in a cold voice,after a minute the woman turned back to normal and stood up,he stared at the man with both hatred and fear "the fate has changed....." she replied as if she didn't want to talk,the man smiled amused,he well knew the woman couldn't lie or else she would suffer great pain,she was a witch who was able to see visions,she could prophesy and tell what will happen in the future and her prophecy always come to pass "who's fate?" he asked "everyone's fate has changed,great changes will occur and they will bring the changes in this world" she replied staring at the man "who are they?" he asked "I don't know....you will have to wait and find out" the man snorted "why should I wait and see when you're here?tell me everything you saw" he demanded,left with no choice the woman said "I saw two people standing close to the ocean peacefully watching the sunset,one of them had white pupils and the other red" she said "so one is a witch and the other is a vampire? that's unheard of,witches are vampires nemises how could they be together?who are they?" he asked curiously "I don't know" she replied "fine.....I know you can't lie and neither can you refuse to reveal what you saw,good keep up the good work" the man said and turned to leave his expression dark,I can't let that happen or my plans will be in vain he thought.
