She Did Nothing

Don't get him wrong; there was never an excuse for domestic abuse of any kind in his books. A man who couldn't control his temper and struck someone physically and mentally weaker than them, male or female, deserved a bullet to the head. 

 

But this wasn't the same. Cheng Bo Jing knew without a doubt that if he turned his back on any person in this storeroom, he was risking death. 

 

And that would upset Wang Tian Mu.

 

A quick, powerful jerk of his wrist and he snapped the woman's neck, letting her fall limply to the floor. 

 

"So, just because I have standards and morals, I am standing on a pedestal? Is that what you are saying?" he asked, strolling toward the woman in charge of the entire group.
