Chapter Seven

As Norman, Orion and I went out of our neighborhood central, we parted ways. We promised each other to discuss more online. Norman and I walked into our estate.

'Why don't we go your house today' I suggested.

'I've got nothing much at home. And your house has more games'

'We can't go to my house today. I mean, I can't play for the rest of the evening. Punishment for punching Fanny. So if we go to our house now, my chores will start earlier' I explained.

'Alright then. But don't complain, my room's a mess'

'I won't, why don't we just sit in your living room?'

'With my parents?'

'Yeah why not?'

'That will be the most awkward thing ever!'

'Fine'

So we went up to his house. He entered his identification number. Then his house password which of course I looked away. And then I have to place my thumb on the reader to register myself into his guest list. I rarely go to his house. Not that I don't want to but because he always rejects the idea. I respect his privacy. The system only remembers you for two days and afterwards, they'll forget about you and you have to register your name again. If you enter the house before the two days is up, then the deadline renews. For your own house they definitely remember you until you decided to shift.

Mr and Mrs Sky, Norman's parents, were sitting together on the living room couch watching the screen. They were just about to start the news program.

'Norman, how's school?' Mrs Sky replied.

'We actually have no class today. Zac's with me'

We walked around the corner and appear in the living room.

'Why class is cancelled?' Mr Sky asked.

'Miss Janet was brought to meet the superior'

That made Mr and Mrs Sky's eyes went wide. I could tell they were not just shock. But I couldn't read why. It's like, Miss Janet was their family member or something.

'So you're released early?' Mrs Sky said.

'Yeah, but I waited for Zac cause he has to see the principal'

This is awkward. Okay now I understand why. The last time I came here the same thing happened. Norman's parents always have lots of questions.

'Really? What happened?'

'I hit a girl on the face Mrs Sky' I spared Norman's guilt of explaining for me. That actually surprised Mrs Sky. She always know me as a good boy.

'But he did it for a reason mom. Fanny was responsible for Miss Janet's arrest'

Mrs Sky seemed more surprise by this. And her earlier intense look on me cooled down like she was satisfied now I punched Fanny. But then her face got intense again.

'Did Fanny say anything about that?' Mr Sky asked.

'Yeah she said she's gonna tell her dad' I replied.

Mr Sky's expression really jumped high at this. He got up straight away.

'Come with me Zac. I'll walk you home. Norman, stay at home'

'What's wrong Mr Sky?'

'Just follow me'

My heart was racing. My thoughts were running wild. My trouble's bigger than I thought. I followed Mr Sky walked out of the house as he accompanied me to my block.
