The two sisters could not see her. It was obvious because she was only reliving a past and not in it. Flyra watched as the story unfolded.
'First you took someone I love from me and now you even dare to have a baby with him' Sofya said angrily. She has a soft-spoken voice, which made her sound like a child trying to show her temper. Majuza was close to tears. Hugging her child with full of love.
'Look at me when I'm talking to you. Mommy and daddy taught us well enough how to respect those older than us'
Majuza turned, her tears were at the verge of rolling down her cheeks.
'Don't act like you're the nice one here. You know your mistake' Sofya said.
'I did nothing wrong Sofya. Nicholas loves me as I do love him. His heart is true with me. You're not even with him' Majuza cried.
'Who said I'm not with him?! You took him away from me, you scandalous freak!'
'I am not!' Majuza exclaimed. She was getting angrier rather than sad. The baby in her arms was starting to wake.
'He was never with you! No one even gets the idea that you're together. You may like him, but none of you inform publicly that it's official' Majuza explained.
'Do we have to tell everyone?!'
'No! You don't even tell me! What are sisters for if we keep things from each other?!'
'Everyone has secrets Majuza! Even some only the person herself knows that secret! You keep secrets from me yourself!'
'Then if that relationship you so call had with Nicholas was a secret, I have no way of knowing. And you can't blame me for marrying him in secret. He came to me. We both love each other. It wasn't my fault!'
Sofya breathed in deep, controlling her anger. She breathed out and smiled dryly.
'Of course it's not your fault. That's why I killed Nicholas…'
'What?! You said you got him captured!' Majuza shouted. The baby in her arms was fully awake now and crying very loudly.
'Yes I got him captured and killed him'
Majuza gave an expression of utter disbelief.
'And as I was saying Majuza, I'm going to let you off from such a scandalous crime because as you acknowledged it, it wasn't your fault. But I have one condition for you. You are to abandon that baby of yours. Either you…'
'I'm not giving James away to anyone! You're mad! You would kill someone you love?!' Majuza fought back. 'What would mommy and daddy say if…'
'Well they're not here aren't they Majuza?! They died a long time ago when you're too busy caring for your own emotions in this wretched place!'
'This was daddy's favourite place in all the worlds!'
'The point is, where were you when our parents were in their old age. Requiring our company? You were busy here entertaining your sad life!'
'Shut up!' Majuza shouted, exerting a wave of red mist that moved as quickly as a forcefield, damaging everything around her except Sofya who was protected by her personal shield.
'Get out!' Majuza yelled.
'You can't push me away. You know you are no match for my forces. Your magic is strong but you are still no match for me, the masters and the army. You are alone Majuza. You always stand alone. Maybe not alone, you have those ugly creatures standing with you. Listen carefully to what I wanted to say earlier. If you treasure your life, your power, your whatever home you make of this place, then abide by the rules I set. You committed a crime with Nicholas against me. You can live if you send that child of yours away. I don't care whatever you do, give her away and don't see her again. You have a week to do so. Disobeying my orders and you shall face the consequences' Sofya said. She had lowered her sword. Majuza remained silent for the whole time, she couldn't bother to entertain her sister.
'What kind of judge are you? Sentenced someone to death for loving someone else. Is that what mommy and daddy taught you?'
The cave was filled with the sound of James crying.
'Don't question my judgement!' Sofya exclaimed. 'You have one week'
The vision disappeared into clouded figures and Flyra was back where she was before.
'Princess!' Captain exclaimed. Flyra could tell that he had called her a few times.
'Yes Captain' Flyra replied immediately, snapping out of the trance.
'Are you having the same effects again?' Captain said.
'This is different, Captain, I intended so. I looked into the past based on this painting'
'That is a rare ability Flyangel' Oliver said. 'To be able to see the truth about everything is real power'
'What did you see?' Bale said.
Flyra told them the whole story from the moment she realised she was back in time.
'So Majuza was not as evil as we think she is' Bale said.
'We cannot jump to conclusions. There are so many questions in my mind right now. The story was hanging' Flyra said.
'Then let's see the other paintings. Perhaps they will explain' Oliver said.
'We can't waste time on paintings that are only clues of something much much bigger. That must wait. For now we know Majuza's avengers are against us, are our enemies. They will stop at nothing to destroy Sofya's nation. Our mission is to find father's children that they kidnapped years ago. Now they're definitely older than I am, lesser chance for any of us to recognise them, let alone myself who has never met them before. We must continue our journey right away'
Flyra turned around and walked briskly to exit the cave. She was very curious of the story she had just witnessed and is desiring to know more but she cannot let that distract her. Staying longer will only tempt her.
