The Phone Call

I picked up the phone and answer with a professional,"Hello?" I said as the voice on the other line said "Hello Detective Siren go and grab a pen and paper to write this number down and this street address that is on the other side of town." it said as I signaled for my teammates to track down the call but before they could the voice on the other line started speaking again having me relay a message to my brother, "Roy, they want to know if you found the person you are looking for? who is this person are they talking about?" I said as I was skeptical that Roy was being good like he said earlier. "Nope, I don't know what they are talking about sis." He reassured me with a smile as I grabbed my jacket, badge and gun the voice spoke again "Good Luck finding the truth." it said as the phone hung up. I took Roy by the collar "come on Roy we got to go." I said as we where on our way to the meet this mystery person.We stopped at the place about two hours later due to traffic in the afternoon, "this is it 895 Harrison Drive just like the voice said on the phone call." I said to him. Once we where in position my brother's phone rang. On the screen the name S appear "I see your still working with that friend of yours The Sparrow." I said as I stopped talking once Roy started to answer the phone. "Sparrow we are at the location what now?" He said as the male voice on the line "The fox is inside the bank. Repeat the fox is inside the bank." Sparrow said as Roy walked over to the 92nd Tyche National Bank. 'there is no way he is planning to rob the bank right in front of me he has to be a damn imbecile thinking I will let this happen and on my shift too.' I thought to myself walking in right behind him closely. On the way in Roy stopped and looked around for someone. "Antoinette." He said as he walked up to a beautiful woman with ginger curly hair lovely brown eyes and a cute Alice blue knee length dress." hello love."she said as she looked over at me "got caught again ?" She asked him as her smile was slowly fading away "no my sister is helping me on Izzy's case and her case but we need the key." he said as he gives her a kiss on the cheek. "Oh Gore Prince when will you learn I was going to sell that stuff to the highest bitter tonight." She said in his ear as she hands a invite to a black tie event. "I'm hoping to catch that new black market dealer Melantha.she has a lot of fans." She added before I stepped in "unless you want to be arrested on sight I suggest you hand it over now." I whispered "you can't give me orders I'll be out in no time. Also cops can't threaten people." She said as I looked at the clock and smirked "It's my lucky day then." I said as my shift was over "give us the key." I said as Roy looks at her "I would do it lovie if you think I'm bad you can't unsee what I know she can do." He said as the woman scoffs "what can she do? She is just a goodie goodie." She said as she tries to throw a punch. I grabbed her hand and smile "nice nails." I said as I leaned in and whispered something into her ear before letting go. "H-Here take it!" She said throwing it over in horror. she ran as I caught the flash drive. "Well we got what we came for let's go." I said as Roy looks at me "what?" I said as I looked back at him "what did you say to her?" He asked "well I told her the truth. If she can't corporate with us then something will happen to the one she loves." I said as Roy snickered "still have the bad side I see." He said as I walked to the door and opened it "No just something I learned from being on the job is all now I'm ready to go whenever you are." I said while Roy walks out with a smile "where are we going?" he asked as I smile and take a blindfold to him "my house but first safety procedure." I said as I lead him to the car. I got in after him and drove to my apartment in downtown. once I got him inside without my nosy neighbor noticing I unbind the blindfold and let Roy look inside the apartment. "Rocky here boy!" I said as I whistle to my bloodhound as he came running from the bedroom where is dog bed is and jumped on me licking my face. "down boy heal." I said as rocky did what was told I looked at Roy "shower is on the right and suit is on the bed." I said as Roy walked where he was supposed to go. I headed to my room and got my computer out to look at the video evidence that my brother has given me like a present on Christmas. I got a text from a girlfriend on my phone as I watched the video "my lovely lilly you picked a bad time to text and call." I said to myself as I pick it up "hello my sweet lillian. how was your day?" I asked as I had a small blush her voice was as sweet as cherries. "hello darling my day was rough but what about yours?" she asked me "rough but better now that I have an angel on the phone." I said as we both laughed "I have family in town actually so I have to go soon." she said after we talked for about an hour. when we got done I hung up and turned around "Jesus Christ!" I said as Roy was behind me being nosy as ever "who is Lilly?" he asked as I got snippy "none of your business let's go we got an arrest to do."
