Because Papa loves Mama

Zixin lowered his glance quickly, letting out a disturbed sigh.

Coming and standing near their table, LingYun sighed wearily and complained, "Finding you is making me tired. I regret myself for giving you freedom."

Ehuang looked up at him.

"Hi, Ehuang!"

LingYun greeted her with a virtuous smile before sitting directly opposite them. However, it earned only a frown in return because Eluang already sensed that her father's sigh carried some irritation.

"Who are you?" asked Ehuang, and that's rude.

LingYun was speechless, even though he adored her lovingly. "You are cute!"

"I kn-," Before she could finish, Zixin rapidly shut her mouth and advised, "Ehuang, no! Do not talk back."

"Don't worry, Zixin. I'm not that rude to children, and after all, she is your child. Let her be!" LingYun cooled that tense atmosphere around Zixin.

Only then did Zixin take back his hand. In whatever way, he still keeps his eyes lower from meeting LingYun.

"I know!" Ehuang raised her voice wantonly.

LingYun couldn't be helpful but bursted into a chuckle and admired her fondly. On the other hand, Zixin was embarrassed, looking away.

"You raised her well!" He complimented the ashamed Zixin.

The server boy came and asked LingYun, "What do you like to eat, sir?"

"The one Mr. Ki ordered," replied LingYun. The server boy left, dropping a bow.

LingYun's glare turned to Zixin. "Why do you want to block me?"

Zixin swallowed his guilt and fed some water to Ehuang instead.

A stroppy look formed on his face unanticipatedly. With an aggrieved voice, he remarked, "Do you want Ehuang to see my real face?"

Zixin put back the water glass, met his eyes, and tried to explain, "Try to understand, I'm a married man. I don't want to cheat my love, unlike you."

Instantly, he dragged down his Irish.

"Married my foot!" LingYun was annoyed.

"Here is your order, sir!" The server boy served their food one by one and left.

Zixin dragged Ehuang to put her on his lap and picked up her rice cup with a spoon. LingYun crossed his left leg, leaning against the sofa backrest as if he were going to get a great view of Zixin feeding his daughter.

Ehuang opened up her mouth, and Zixin popped one spoon of the meal inside.

"Did you sleep with him?" asked LingYun.

Keeping his sight on Ehuang's meal cup, he replied shortly, "Yes! And I will often."

An exasperation-tinged sigh escaped LingYun's lips. "I'll punish you later; feed her!"

Zixin then fed her her next bite of fried egg. "Why should you punish me? It's not like you are my ex or husband." He asked fearlessly.

LingYun narrowed his eyes at him, picked up the chopstick, and poked the cooked pork of Zixin's.

"Do not talk back at me!"

Ehuang pulled a frown face, glared at the pork that his chopstick holed. When she witnessed it was going to be taken by him, she abruptly clenched his chopstick.

Both threw shocked looks at her chloric-filled expression.

"This is Papa's. Eat yours; you have a lot," she growled, causing LingYun to be unable to get a word out.

Twisting his tongue and tilting his head to one side, he raised his two eyebrows at the slow pace at her. Zixin laughed lightly but zipped his mouth right away before LingYun glimpsed him.

"I like you more because of this, Ehuang," he was touched.

So he pulled back his chopstick as Ehuang pressed the pork with her smallest hand to keep it on Zixin's plate.

Zixin pulled out some tissue papers and wiped her oily hand quickly. He then continued to feed her a meal.

LingYun then had his pork, as she commented.

"Do Yuxuan know about Ehuang?" LingYun asked after swallowing minced pork pieces.

"That's none of your business," Zixin said.

"Ehuang," LingYun called out her name, looking into her angry eyes as she met his eyes.

Seconds passed, and LingYun was still looking into her eyes. Ehuang was perplexed. "What?"

Glimpsed LingYun's fixed gaze at her, Zixin acted quickly to cover her eyes. "No, I didn't tell him the real reason."

Only then did LingYun switch his gaze to his food plate. "I wonder if you would spill that too."

"I don't want to give him a hard time," a repentant engaged his voice.

"You care about him a lot; what about me?" he asked, offering a side dish to his plate.

Ehuang nudged it. That fell on the table between Zixin's and LingYun's tables.

With a helpless sigh, he looked at her.

"I won't allow anyone to offer their food to my papa except my MAMA," her glossy enunciation voice carried additional scorn.

"Mama?" LingYun muttered as he acknowledged she mentioned Yuxuan. "I'm your mama too," he declared, moving that waste using tissue paper.

"No, You-" she denied. An egg from a spoon interrupted her, and additionally, Zixin whispered in her ear, "Do not, Ehuang."

Chomping the egg, she looked up at her papa.

"Just keep quiet. At least for Papa," he pleaded for her tranquilly.

Her pursed lips take part in the answer. She then turned her face and pointed out the meal cup to let him know that it was finished.

"Do you want more?" he asked.

She shook her head, trying to take water. LingYun shoved it at her, but Zixin's hand held it before hers, and then he fed her.

"Ahh, I missed it."

He dismayed as he glimpsed Zixin's right-hand fingers getting hold of the water neck while his fingers were in the lower to shove it.

After that, LingYun subtly narrowed his eyes at her. "Why do you want only your mama to share food with your papa?"

She gulped water before saying, "Because Papa loves Mama."

In no time, LingYun's jealousy-shaded stare fell on Zixin, who put Ehuang next to him.

"So your papa loves your mama only?" LingYun's voice was dim, and the glaze was on Zixin, who avoided it.

"Yes," a sweet voice of hers said.

"Look at me, Zixin!" LingYun commented, putting down the chopstick and resting his chin on a hooked fish as those elbows pocked on the table surface.

Trembling eyelashes are swithering to raise. However, Zixin knew LingYun wouldn't wait if he went mad. So he rolled up his shivering Irish to him.

"Will you love me if I keep waiting like this, Zixin?" LingYun sounded remorseful. Zixin couldn't be able to answer him since he had already fallen in love with Yuxuan.

Taking a minute of silence as Ehuang observed guilt crawling his face, he answered, "I don't think I will fall for you."
