Chapter 11 - Andrew

I hated the weekends because I couldn't see Adom like I did when we where in the school building.

RING! RING!

I pick up my phone to see that I got a text from Adom.

Adom: Hey Andrew.

Andrew: hey Adom...why are you texting me?

Adom: well I could always stop texting you and just leave you alone.

Andrew: NOOOOOO! I was just kidding!!!

I smile at this and Adom's next text made me want to do a happy dance.

Adom: the bruise on my face is hardly there and the fair is open today and I was wondering...if you would like to go today?

Andrew: hold on...I got to talk to my mothers about this real quick.

Adom: sure.

I unplug, and run down stairs with my phone in hand. When I get to the kitchen I hear my mothers talking.

"You should tell Andrew."

"What? That he was my child that wasn't going to make it so I asked the mayor if I could turn him into a robot? No Beatrice."

I just stand there and don't listen after that. So I was a human at first...and my mother turned me into what I was now.

RING! RING!

I jump at the sound of my phone and saw that it was a text from Adom.

Adom: hey...did you talk to them

"Andrew?"

Saying cuss-words to myself I walk into the kitchen where both of my mothers are looking at me.

"M-mom?"

"Yes Andrew?"

I look from mother to mother B. Should I talk to them about what I over heard? Will they get mad at me for it?

"Andrew?"

"Uh...c-could Adom come and t-take me...uh...on a date?"

Both of my mothers look at each other and looked back at me with smiles on their faces.

"Yes you can go on a date with Adom."

I smile, thanked them, ran back to my room and shut the door.

Andrew: my mothers said yes!

Adom: okay...I'll be there in a few...see ya

Andrew: okay

"Shoot! He'll be here in a few minutes! What do I wear?!" I whisper-shouted to myself.

I go to my closet and slide the door open. My closet is a walk I closet with lots of cloths.

"So much to choose from and I don't know what to wear."

I start looking and decided to go with something simple. Taking a white shirt, blue jeans, and black and white shoes.

"Okay this should do."

I walk out of the closet, close the door and started to change.

RING!RING!

I look at my phone as I was putting my shoes on.

'Please don't tell me that he's here.' I thought.

Adom: hey Andrew...I just pulled up to your house...I'm about to get out of the car.

Andrew: okay...I'm almost done getting ready.

Adom: okay.

I finish getting ready as I hear the door bell ring.

"ANDREW!! ADOM IS HERE!!"

"OKAY!"

I finish brushing my hair and star running down the stairs.

"Ah, Andrew you look so handsome." said mother B.

"Thank you...were is Adom?"

"In the kitchen with your mother."

I smile and walked into the kitchen. When I got in there my mother was facing me and Adom's back was to me.

"Oh Andrew look at you." she says standing up,"you look so handsome...doesn't her Adom?"

Adom stands up, turns to me, and I have to remind myself to breath. He was wearing a black shirt, a tan jacket that went to his knees, blue Jean's and black shoes. His eye wasn't covered up so when he looked at me it turned pink.

"Y-you look great."

"T-thanks." I say as my face heats up.

"Well...off you two go!" mother says.

Adom takes my hand and we leave the house. Once we get in his car he drives away and I look out the window. My mind goes back to the conversation I over heard from my mothers. What was I going to do? How was I going to look at my mother again?

"Andrew, we're here."

I look around to see people walking in and out. They had balloons, stuff animals, cotton candy and I felt like a little child.

"LETS GO!" I say as i get out of the car.

"Okay, okay."

I stand and wait for Adom. Once he's standing in front of me I take his hand and walk to a man in a box. Adom got us tickets and we walk into the fair.

"What do you want to do first."

I look around to see what there was. There was so much to do and so little time.

"How about a game to win a stuff animal?"

"Okay."

I take his hand and he takes my to one that was throwing a ball at something.

"A very classical game...and I win it every time and gave the stuff animal to my sister."

I smile at this and we walk up to the booth.

"Two tickets to get three baseballs to knock down the bottles!" said the man in a very energetic way.

Adom gives the man to tickets and the man gives Adom three baseballs. Adom picks up one, waits, throws and knocks one down. Then he does the same thing and knocks down the next set and then he knocked down the last one down.

"We have a winner! Pick a prize! Any prize!"

"Which one do you want?" Adom asked me.

I look to see bears, pandas, monkeys, and tigers.

"One of the tigers."

The man gets it down, gives it to Adom and then he gives it to me. I smile and take Adoms hand in mine. When I look back I see that his eye had turned yellow.

"What does yellow mean?"

"Happy."

I smile even more and we go to many games, rides and at cotton candy.

Then the sun started to set and I didn't want to leave. I didn't thing Adom did either because his eye went from yellow to blue.

"This was really fun Adom."

"Yeah it was fun."

I smile and hold my two stuff animals closer to me. One was the tiger he won for me and the other was a rainbow duck that, yes, he won for me.

"Andrew..."

I turn around to see Adom's face turning red, him looking away from me and his eye had turned pink.

"W-what does pink mean?" I asked.

He looks at me with a smile, walks up to me, and lifts my head up to him. He slowly leans Dow and I get on my tippy-toes. He close his eyes, I close mine and our lips met. Adom's lips tasted sweet and salty which had to be from the cotton candy and popcorn he had. We both pull away and I wished we could kiss forever.

"I-I...," he sighs and looks me dead in the eye ,"I love you...and I...when I first met you I thought you were cute. But the way I was treated...I couldn't-"

I kissed him to shut up.

"You don't have to finish that sentence... I get it."

He smiles, takes my hand and we walk out of the fair. With us being closer then ever.
