The Love of Andrew

 Dinner with Adom's family was amazing. But after dinner I was in the car with Adom and he had two blankets in the back. 


 "So...what are we doing now?" I asked looking over at him. 


 "You'll see." he said not taking his off the road. 


 I sigh and look out the window. The sun was setting and I was wondering where we were going. Then I realize it's the same way to the fair grounds. 


 Then we pull into the parking lot and I see that the tents were taken down. And there was other people sitting on blankets 


 "Wait...are we going to look up at the stars?" 


 He gives me a small smile and gets the two blankets from the back. 


 I smile, get out of the car, and take Adom's hand in mine. We found a good spot where people couldn't see us but we could still see the stars. Adom lays one blanket down, we both sit down and he wraps the other blanket around us. 


 "Uh...I notice you don't like it when I get you gifts..." 


 "Oh no! I mean I like it when you get me gifts but...I feel bad because I haven't gotten you anything..." 


 He leans to my ear and whispers in my ear softly. 


 "You don't have to get me anything...when I have you." 


 I feel my face heat up and I look away from him. Why did Adom have to make me feel this way? 


 I look up to see shooting stars and I was amazed. 


 I look back at Adom to see him holding a long black box. 


 He gives me a sly smile and opens the box. I cover my mouth and gasp. The box held two necklaces. One was a golden looking key and the other was a heart. 


 "The key is yours," he takes it out of the box and puts it around my neck ,"and the heart is mine because your the key that opened up my heart." 


 I smile and could feel my face heat up even more. Then I could feel myself feel a little sleepy. Was my battery energy running low so soon? 


 "Could you take me home... I'm a little bit tired." 


 We both get up, Adom gets the blankets and we walk back to the car. Once we got to the car he opened the back door, puts the blankets in the back and I lean on the door. 


 I look up at him to see him standing beside me with worry all over his face. 


 "I'm fine... I just need to go home and get some sleep." 


 He gets me off the door, opens it for me and I get in. Then he gets on the driver side and drives out of the parking lot. I touch the necklace that Adom gave me and I smile slightly. Then I tried to stay awake for my battery power was draining.
