Never Reunite With Exes

Marianne didn't have to wait long. As soon as she stepped out of the law firm building, Drake was already parked in front with his Mercedes.

"You came too fast," she commented nervously.

"What?" Drake asked.

"N-nothing."

"Aren't you going in?" he inquired.

"Ah, yes, sir," she responded, rattled by Drake's unexpected arrival.

"Where are you two going to meet?" he asked.

"RedLutos Motel, sir," she replied.

"That place, huh?" Drake smirked, his eyes holding a glint of recognition. It was the same place he had first caught Merlyn cheating on him. "Are you two planning on making another video?"

"No! Why would I!" Marianne exclaimed indignantly. "I may still have feelings for him, but I would never make the same mistake again!"

"You still want him?" Drake asked.

"I know I'm stupid," she admitted, covering her face. Drake remained silent.
