Chapter 167: Haruko Pregnant Again

"Village secret?" Akari repeated, her eyebrows raised in curiosity.

"Yes, the only person who knows that the Nine-Tails is sealed inside me is your father," Setsuna explained calmly.

"Alright," Akari nodded, accepting the explanation. "So, does that mean Haruko doesn't know about it?"

"That's right, Haruko has no idea," Setsuna replied with a slight smile. "The only reason you know is because you were close to me when I'm using Kurama Chakra and you're an exceptional sensor."

"Nice!" Akari grinned, feeling pleased with herself. She was happy to know something her rival, Haruko, didn't. In her mind, this small advantage brought a sense of pride. The rivalry between the women that Setsuna himself didn't know it happen under him.

Setsuna could only smile back at her, not entirely sure what was running through her thoughts at the moment.

"Akari," Setsuna said, his tone shifting to a more serious one, "I know you're happy, but I need to warn you—there could be a side effect."

"Side effect?" Akari asked, her smile fading into concern. "What do you mean by that?"

"Our child," Setsuna explained, "there's a good chance that they will be affected by Kurama's chakra. The Nine-Tails' power within me might influence them."

"Why are you talking as if that's a bad thing?" Kurama interjected, his voice grumbling. "My chakra will only make your children stronger."

"Stronger?" Akari echoed. "What will happen to a child influenced by the Nine-Tails' chakra?"

"They will grow stronger," Setsuna replied, agreeing with Kurama.

"Well, Kurama just said the same thing. So what's the problem?" Akari asked, confused.

"See? Even your wife agrees!" Kurama added smugly.

Setsuna chuckled, "Nothing, wife. I was just teasing Kurama."

Akari laughed, while Kurama huffed in annoyance. Now, in addition to the Uzukage, Akari also knew Setsuna's secret.

---Reward---

"Congratulations, host. Your wife, Haruko, is pregnant," announced the System. "Please confirm if you would like to draw a reward."

Kurama, who had been listening, couldn't help but comment, "So, do you get a new reward every time your wife gets pregnant?"

"Yes, Kurama. Every time one of my wives becomes pregnant or we have a new child, I receive a reward," Setsuna answered casually.

The system, hearing this exchange of conversation, suddenly grew cautious. Rewards like Kurama were bound by certain restrictions—they couldn't betray the host. If they did, compensation would have to be provided by the System. The system had specific instructions: it could not betray or force the host, it had to ensure that rewards were delivered within a set time frame, and the rewards themselves couldn't turn against the host.

That was why, when Kurama was given to Setsuna, the system had implanted fake memories into Kurama. However, it now feared Kurama might start getting suspicious. Kurama was no fool, and it wouldn't take long for him to figure out that he was merely a reward, not truly saved by Setsuna as he believed.

Before Setsuna could say, "Draw the reward," the system swiftly removed the option to receive Naruto Series-related rewards. Fortunately for the system, removing certain rewards wasn't against the guidelines.

"Draw the reward," Setsuna instructed.

"1%... 25%... 76%... Complete," the System responded. "Congratulations, host. You have received the martial arts technique Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist (水流岩砕拳, Suiryūgan Sai Ken)."

"Wait, martial arts? I think I've heard that name before," Setsuna said, his memory stirred.

"This martial art is used by the S-Rank Hero Bang. He achieved S-Rank status due to his mastery of this technique," the system explained.

"Bang... S-Rank? Yeah, I remember him now," Setsuna said, the details coming back to him.

"Is this man strong?" Kurama asked with a hint of curiosity.

"Yes, he's incredibly powerful, Kurama. He might even defeat you with just his hands," Setsuna replied, still recalling Bang's feats.

"No," the system quickly interjected. "According to the data, Bang would lose to Kurama, but not without inflicting significant damage before being defeated."

"You hear that? I'm stronger than him," Kurama remarked confidently.

Hearing this, Setsuna recalled the fierce battle between Bang and the centipede monster. Due to the intensity of that fight, he had mistakenly believed Bang could easily defeat Kurama. However, now, with the system's clarification, he realized he had underestimated Kurama's true strength.

Suddenly, Setsuna was pulled into the cage.

"Hey, brat, I really want to fight Bang," Kurama growled. "Do you know where he is?"

"Bang is from another world, and it's impossible for you to fight him," Setsuna responded calmly.

"Another world?" Kurama asked, clearly in disbelief.

"Exactly," Setsuna confirmed.

"But how do you even know about him?" Kurama inquired, suspicious.

"Well, here, fist bump me," Setsuna suggested, holding out his fist.

Kurama bumped his massive paw against Setsuna's hand, and immediately, the memory was transferred. However, instead of seeing the memory in the form of manga or television, Setsuna had slightly altered the information he has and sent it to Kurama in the form of pure memories.

Kurama saw the scene unfold—an old man battling a giant centipede, which was undeniably stronger than he expected. Eventually, the old man, Bang, lost the fight, and the one who saved him was a bald man who appeared to possess ridiculous strength.

"That thing... it's not a tailed beast, is it?" Kurama asked, confused.

"Nope, that's just a monster, a giant centipede," Setsuna clarified.

Kurama's eyes narrowed as he processed the information. "He's stronger than me, isn't he?" he admitted reluctantly.

"Well, what do you think? Do you still want to fight him?" Setsuna teased.

"Who? The centipede or Bang?" Kurama asked.

"The S-Rank Hero Bang," Setsuna replied with a smirk.

Kurama thought for a moment before answering, "Bang may have been strong, but he's grown old. I believe I could defeat him now," he commented with confidence, though there was still a hint of respect in his voice.

"Wait a minute, you have a gate to travel to other worlds, so what are you waiting for? Let's go meet Bang!" Kurama exclaimed eagerly.

"Nope, that gate can't be used to go to other worlds—at least not the one where Bang lives," Setsuna replied, shaking his head.

"What? Really?" Kurama asked, his disbelief evident.

Setsuna left Kurama alone in the cage and decided to consult the system for confirmation.

"System, can I use the gates to travel to another world, specifically Saitama's world?" Setsuna asked, hoping for a different answer.

"No, host. The gates are randomly generated. You can only revisit destinations that you've previously traveled to," the system explained.

"Did you hear that, Kurama? I can only travel to random places, and I can't choose which world I want to visit unless it's a place I've already been," Setsuna called back to Kurama.

Kurama let out an irritated growl from within the cage. "Tch, useless gates," he muttered to himself, clearly frustrated with the situation.

Setsuna smiled, amused by Kurama's grumbling, but he knew it was beyond his control. 'Looks like meeting Bang will be impossible,' he thought, as he moved on to other matters on his mind, leaving Kurama to brood in the cage.
