It's just Mai's luck when the water pipes burst at her apartment. Forced out of her rental, Mai's friend Ema offers her a place to stay. (A self-reminder of what happened so many chapters ago)

First Year university student Tsukiyo Mai was living happily in Tokyo when her sketchy apartment decided to flood.

Without nowhere else to go, her friend, Asahina Ema, invited her to stay at hers. Mai accepted, thinking she couldn't have a sweeter friend, but she had no idea what she was getting into...

Mai played Brother's Bingo while trying to wrap her head around the Asahina brothers at Sunrise Residence. She already knew Yusuke from school (and that he has a massive crush on Ema), so introductions should have gone smoothly...

... Except that several brothers (8+?) under one roof is a recipe for chaos. Add another girl to the mix and Mai soon learned just how strong Ema truly is.

All the while, Mai tirelessly searched for a new place to live, anxious that she's relied too much on Ema and the Asahina family's kindness.

Meanwhile, she met a pair of twins who kept displaying concerning(?) behaviour. Their younger triplet, Asahina Natsume, didn't seem too bad, but maybe that's because he doesn't live there.

This very Natsume cares for two lovely cats, and Mai accidentally asked to meet them, despite the fact that she was set to move out and never see the Asahinas again. There was no reason for her keep in touch with anyone aside from Ema and Yusuke, but now it seems she'll be imposing on Natsume a little while longer.

Mai finally moves out, and the awaited get-together arrives. It's only to meet Natsume's cats, and Ema is thankfully going, too.
