Chapter 23

"Watch out!" Isobu shouted.

I felt something wrap around me and I squirmed. I looked down and saw that the Orochimaru I had stabbed was an earth clone. "Dang it," I muttered as Orochimaru walked up to me.

"I hear you're almost as good as Tsunade," he said, "Just so you know, this jutsu can capture her to. Don't feel to bad."

I gasped as the snake squeezed harder, making it harder to breath. I squirmed, trying to break free. If I could just… "Don't think about it," said Orochimaur, gripping my chin in his cold scally hands. "I am a Sannin and much more experienced then you. I could kill you at any moment."

I nodded, "But… gasp… I… can…"

I appeared on the floor a few feet away, next to my last Flying Thunder God imprint. I fell to my knees, gasping for breath. My chest felt hot. Oh no… not now…

Orochimaru glared at me, then he opened his mouth and pulled out a blade. "Stand up," he said, "You're ANBU buddies will be here in a few minutes. I want them to watch you die."

I shook my head, "I'm not dying, you obviously don't know what I can do."

He shrugged, "Heal things?"

"I can kill too," I said. Strength of Hundreds Seal, open!

Orochimarus only reaction was that of interest. "You would make a fun experiment."

He ran at me, his blade scratching the floor. I jumped back as he slashed at me. I spun around as a second Orochimaru slashed at me. "Clones?" I made my own shadow clones and ran at him.

I picked up my scalpel and our blades collided. Even with the seal, I was barely stronger than Orochimaru. "I heard you used it to save Kushina," he said, "Don't you know the seal takes ages to regenerate?"

He pushed is blade, forcing me to jump back. I ran at him again. One by one, my clones defeated his and his defeated mine. "Huh," said Orochimaru as sparks flew in the air, "Aren't you a jinchuuriki, show me some tails!"

"HOW DARE HE!" shouted Isobu.

"Shush," I muttered as Orochimaru swung at me. I blocked his blade with my scalpel, then I felt his foot swing under mine. I fell on my stomach and hit the Earth, hard. The black lines recedded back into the diamond on my forehead.

I felt his blade at the back of my neck and his snakes wrap around me again, lifting me up to a standing position. "You're still not showing me your strength."

"Why should I show you my strength?" I asked, "You are a good for nothing traitor!"

He shrugged and looked down the path. "ANBU's coming," he said, "And thanks to you, I'm slower because of my leg." He looked down at the leg that I had slashed with my scalpel.

I stuck my tongue at him. "So immature," he muttered, "I want to know the FULL extent of your abilities, and I need something to buy me time… how about I leave you a gift?"

'Oh no, oh no, please no…' I squirmed, trying to break free. He grabbed me, touching my skin. "I've learned enough about your ability to know you can't use the Flying Thunder God without bringing me with you right?" He grinned, "You can't do anything. You're quite helpless."

He opened his mouth, showing his fangs. I could hear the pattering of footsteps. "Next time," he said, "You have to tell me which hurts more, becoming a Jinchuuriki, or… "

I felt a sharp pain on the side of my neck as he bit down. His snakes released me and I fell to the floor. "...this." he walked away, "That is… if you survive."

Orochimaru turned to walk away. I grabbed his injured leg and dug my nails into it. He screamed in pain and turned to kick me with his other leg. I flew back and crashed into a tree. Black spots danced in front of my eyes. "See ya, Rin," then he disappeared.

"Ahhh…" I groaned as the pain on my neck increased and I clenched my hand around it.

I could feel his vile chakra spreading through my body. "Ow…" I muttered as the pain increased. My body was shaking. My head fell to my lap. I was kneeling on both knees as I heard the group come.

"Rin-sama," said one of the ANBU. I grabbed him to steady myself as pain increased. It fricking hurt.

Isobu roared at the invading chakra, causing me to grip my head. It was so loud. I fell to my side, shaking in pain. The black spots were growing. "Somethings wrong with her chakra," said someone, a Hyuuga probably.

"Rin-sama," the ANBU touched my neck to feel my pulse.

"I'm oka-" I was cut off by more pain. Then everything went dark… again.
