"Because there are so many of you who passed the exam, we will be hosting a quick elimination match," explained Hayate, "You will be randomly paired in a 1v1 match. The winner shall proceed to the third exam and the loser will be eliminated. If any of you wish to leave, please do so now."
As expected, Kabuto raised his hand and left. I sighed. Sandaime had ruined everything already. This time… I would make sure Orochimaru can never touch Sasuke. And Kabuto… I really didn't like him. Having him dead would honestly be better.
But first… I had stop a few things from happening.
…
The first fight Sasuke and Yoroi's fight. With the cursed seal sealed away, Sasuke should be able to use chakra. He was in a slightly weaked state and would probably have to be hospitalized, just like in canon but this fight should be alright.
"Go Sasuke-kun!" shouted Sakura. Ino glared at her and I smiled. Those girls…
Sasuke jumped back as Yoroi tried to grab him. "Fire Style: Dragon Flame Jutsu."
Yoroi jumped back, the tip of his clothes singed. Sasuke threw his shuriken at him, using one of the Uchiha basic shurikenjutsu. Yoroi ducked as Sasuke ran at him with a kunai in hand. Yoroi grabbed his hand and Sasuke tried to pull back in shock as his energy was absorbed by Yoroi.
Then his attacker froze as one of the shuriken flew back and impaled his arm. He high up, avoiding the other few stars. The bloodied star fell towards the floor. Sasukes eyes flashed red and he lept up, higher than Yoroi.
Guy and Rock gasped in horror and Guy grabbed Kakashi and started shaking him. Sasuke twisted in midair and brought his foot down into Yoroi's chest. LIONS BARRAGE!
"Kakashi!!!" screamed Guy, "My eternal rival! You are too smart… teaching your student my moves… Teach Rock chidori now! It's only fair…"
Kakashi ignored him has Sasuke stepped backwards, gasping for breath before he fell to the floor. Kakashi ran and caught him before he hit the floor. "Good job," he said. He looked up at me and I nodded.
I landed next to them and put my shoulder on Sasukes. "Let's get you to the back room and seal that curse properly." He nodded.
I looked up and saw a Sound shinobi watching us. His pupils were in slits and he licked his lips with his tongue. My neck prickled and I remembered that I had sealed it myself a few hours before using one of the strongest Uzumaki seals I could find and handle. It was time to end him.
…
Sasuke sat in the circle I had painstakingly drew. My fingers were covered in ink and I traced seals along his back. Kakashi leaned against one of the columns, reading is stupid book. "There," I sighed in satisfaction.
I had drawn a simplified version of the Four Symbols Seal that Minato-sensei had developed years before. Hours ago, I had used it on myself. If it was strong enough to hold a tailed beast then it would hold a simple cursed seal.
"This is gonna hurt," I said to Sasuke.
I looked at the single tomoe on his neck and sighed. "Three… two… one… Four Symbols… Seal!"
I made the hand signs and pressed it against the seal. The symbols wriggled on the floor and on his back and into a single spot. "AH!" He yelled in pain and his body shook but he didn't move until I had finished.
Then he collapsed forward and panted, his hands on the floor. His face was pale and sweaty. "Deep breaths," I said, "Don't worry about the seal. As long as you stay strong willed, all will be well."
He slumped, unconscious. "To think he'd stay conscious…" said a voice.
I turned and Kakashi shut his book and tensed. "What are you doing here!" he said.
"Move," said Orochimaru, "I have no business with the two of you but I do have business with the boy behind you." He smiled at me, "Well maybe I do have business with you… Rin."
"Why do you want him," asked Kakashi.
"You didn't always have that Sharingan did you?" he asked, "Well I want one too. And Sasuke is an exceptional piece."
"You're not taking him," said Kakashi, "Chidori." His hand lit up.
"Where did that girl go?" asked Orochimaru.
Damn it, he noticed. I appeared behind him and grabbed him my the wrist. "Cya!" I shouted to Kakashi, dropping and note then disappearing with Orochimaur.
…
Hey Kakashi!
Could you maybe do as I tell you for once? Especially cause if I die, this stuff is kinda important. First off, you should probably get Sasuke to the hospital. I don't know how he'll react to such as strong seal. He should be fine but just in case, they might want to give him some oxygen. Okay… Then I need you to tell Sandaime that Orochimaru is in the village. Right now. Not that he was here but that he is here RIGHT NOW, in this moment. He needs to cancel the exams. Some of the students in the exams are spies for Orochimaru. Orochimaru created the village of sound. And tell Sandaime that I'm right outside the village about five miles south of the Uzumaki temple. Also tell him I'm gonna kill Orochimaru and it might be dangerous to send anyone under Tokubetsu Jounin. If anything happens to me, I need you to do me a favor. Make sure Hayate is never alone. Always keep an ANBU guard on him until the end of the exams. I'm worried he'll do something stupid and get himself killed. Theres a girl from Kusa that I need you to take care of. She's an Uzumaki and she is abused by her village. Take her for me. Tell them she's dead if you have to, okay? Thanks. And Kakashi? Don't come.
Kakashi sighed at the note. The battle going on was currently between the Abruame boy and a boy from the Village of Soud. He thought of what Rin said about them being a village created by Orochimaru. He wondered how she knew that.
"Hokage-sama," he said, "Please cancel the rest of the fights." This one was wrapping up anyways.
"Kakashi?" he asked, "Whats wrong."
"Orochimaru is here," he said, "He showed up when Rin was sealing Sasuke's cursed seal." Kakashi handed Sandaime the note. "Please."
Sandaime nodded and motioned Hayate to come. "Cancel the exams," he said.
Hayate nodded and jumped down to the center of field, announcing. Sandaime turned to the ANBU behind him. "Gather the strongest Tokubetsu Jounin in the village right now. Kakashi, stay here and watch them." by them, he meant the village of sound genin. "Guy!" called Sandaime, "Come with me."
"Yosh!" Guy pumped his fist.
"Hey," said Kakashi, "Can you make sure she's okay?"
Guy stared at Kakashi in shock, "What… my eternal rival! I am so happy for you! Have you finally found a woman in your life!"
"Now is not the time," sighed Kakashi, "Rin! Make sure she doesn't kill herself. And if she's injured… get her to the hospital fast."
"Yes…" said Guy, "Rin… you like Rin?"
Kakashi facepalmed, "She is fighting Orochimaru! Also she has Genma."
"Guy!" called Sandaime. He turned to another ANBU, "Get me Yondaime's Hokage Guard Platoon. Running will take too long."
"Yes sir!"
…
Raido, Genma, and Iwashi were summoned by Sandaime. Rin had helped them perfect their Flying Thunder Formation, allowing them to expand it without touching. They could send over twenty people now.
"Whats going on?" asked Genma. The ANBU had only told them it was an emergency and that their services were needed.
"It's Rin," Guy explained as the three Hokage Guard Platoon members lined up in a triangle. "She's fighting Orochimaru."
"What!" Sandaime sighed, "Young love…"
"Just go," urged Kakashi.
"Alright," said Iwashi, "Three, two, one…"
The three of them made hand signals and focused on the Uzumaki shrine. The others would have to run the rest of the way. They had been told to only send the people inside and that they were not allowed to go. Now Genma knew these instructions were specifically for him. F*ck it, he was still going.
"Flying Thunder Formation!"
