178. Gratitude

Itsuki stood beside Kaguya and Yuzuru who were hugging each other while crying. 

He didn't say anything, he just stood back and watched with a soft smile.

He let them let out all of their pent-up emotions, he could understand how important this moment was to them. 

Not having to bid farewell to your loved ones was a huge thing after all.....

After pouring her heart out Kaguya separated from Yuzuru with a slightly embarrassed expression on her face, she felt a bit self-conscious because she had been bawling like a child in the presence of Itsuki. 

But seeing his calm smile she felt slightly at ease and seeing Yuzuru's encouraging and slightly teasing gaze, Kaguya blushed a bit before going towards Itsuki. 

She took a deep breath to calm her nerves and held her chest with her hands, she could feel the rapid pounding of her flustered and excited heart.

She closed her eyes and felt the rhythmic beating of her heart. 

*Dubh* *Dubh* *Dubh*.....

With each beat of her heart, she recalled the moments she shared with him over the past week, how much he meant to her and the immense gratitude she felt towards him. 

But she was 100% sure her feelings for him didn't come out of gratitude or a need to repay his favour. 

She liked him and didn't wish to part with him, she shared the same feelings as Yuzuru. Still, she felt a bit annoyed that Yuzuru got the head start on her but it is what it is. 

Kaguya took a deep breath and opened her eyes and gazed at Itsuki who was looking at her with an intriguing gaze waiting for her to say what was on her mind. 

Kaguya had a lot of things to say to him at this moment, she wanted to tell him about her insecurities, the intensity of her feelings to the gratitude she felt towards him for coming into her life. 

But in the end, she didn't say anything and just opted to show him through her actions. 

Kaguya stepped towards him with steady steps and once she was before him she leaned up to press her lips against his in a chaste kiss while entwining her arms around his neck and pressing her body against his. 

After a few seconds, she felt his arms wound up around her waist as he leaned more into the kiss leaving Kaguya breathless. 

After what felt like an eternity Kaguya let go of his lips to gaze at him with a flushed face and whispered to him in a loving voice. 

" Thank you " ...

Itsuki got up for his early morning grind, but he tried to not wake up Kaguya and Yuzuru who were lying on his chest. 

He carefully untangled himself from them and kissed both of them on the forehead before going out causing them to smile in their sleep.....

Yesterday he decided to sleep with both Kaguya and Yuzuru since he confirmed their relationship and both of them were a bit clingy. 

Other than kissing and groping he didn't go too far with them as he decided to enjoy the process just like with Ellen. 

He had already decided to take his naughty maid before the vacation ended.

Thinking of Yuzuru and Kaguya Itsuki had a contemplative expression on his face. 

He closed his eyes and willed the Spirit contract to appear in his palm, with a warm glow a slightly luminous parchment appeared in his palm. 

It was just a blank parchment except for the glowing clock symbol etched on it. 

He observed it for a bit and after passing his chakra through it the specifics of the contract were known to him. 

He had looked through the contract before when he signed a Spirit contract with Kurumi. But now he was looking through it to find something of value, he believed the spirit contract should not just be a one time use thing. 

It was his gut feeling, thus he decided to check it thoroughly to see if there was any restriction in forming a contract with more than one person.

After taking his time checking the spirit contract Itsuki didn't find any restrictions which made him a bit happy as this meant Yuzuru and Kaguya could also be like Kurumi and visit him. 

Although he felt a bit bad about Ellen, thinking about her Itsuki wondered if he could make her into a spirit too, in that way he could make her his contracted spirit and wouldn't have to wait for his mastery of space seals to become better so that he could take her to the Shinobi world.

If a normal girl like Kurumi could become a spirit then why not a talented wizard like Ellen? 

He can bring this up with Kurumi later to see if she has any insights. 

But before all that he needed to see if he was able to form a contract with Yuzuru and Kaguya which should be fairly easy as they only had to drop a droplet of blood on the parchment to see if it had any binding effect. 

But now that he had an answer to what had been bothering him, Itsuki could dive back into his grind without any troubles.....
