Chapter 2- Who Is He?

"I want to end this mysterious waiting and turn this grayness between you and me into a complete black."

It was the first time I decided to take a bold decision and move on. However, now I am in an ambulance with an unknown man as his guardian.

Past Memories started to flood my mind with the sudden feeling of failure. All the blurred light passed, stabbed me thousands of times and reminded me how lonely I am.

I continuously tried to contact Xia, but she still did not answer her phone. The medical staff put him in an oxygen mask. So, he seems to be relieved.

This is the seventh month I have stayed in China as a student, and there are three more months left to stay here. I'm still trying to publish my book in China before going back.

With all the trying during the past few months, I think all my efforts will left in vain. If not, I may publish it on an online platform.

When I looked at this mysterious unknown man, I saw that this man looked like my main character. This thought gave my face a slight smile, and the nurse looked at me.

He may have seen I'm smiling. So, I decided to look away a little bit. The ambulance stopped at a Hospital, and the door was opened.

Medical staff came running towards the ambulance and hurried him inside the hospital.

Not knowing anything about him, the hospital staff asked me for basic information and only then remembered that his ID was in my wallet.

Somehow, it must be put in his hand.

However, since he is still unconscious and needs to be cleared to enter the emergency room, I will have to stay here until he regains consciousness.

Xia is still on call, so I texted her all the details.

I went to the hospital washroom room. I removed my jersey and put on his coat to wash my face.

I felt freezing because I took off my coat after he vomited on it and my jersey. The coat was huge, but the coldness felt so far disappeared from it.

His ID is the only way to know who this strange young man is. It would reveal why he was hiding his identity, so I thought of opening his wallet.

Surprisingly, there was no ID card in the wallet, and only a few bank cards and a card from his company head were found. Chang Lee is the president and CEO of Lee Entertainment Group.

If you call his company president, he will do something on his behalf.

So I thought of making a phone call to the number mentioned on the card.

Sometimes, he may have used the president's vehicle for his purposes.

Therefore, he may try to hide his identity, but he will be forgiven because he is sick now.

After the phone rang for a long time, the other side answered. Excuse me, is this Mr. Chang Li? I used my all-Chinese speaking skills to sound like someone could speak well.

No, I am his private secretary. May I know why he called at this time? The person on the other side asked politely but with a tone of a little bit of annoyance.

He asked a bit angrily but politely. Maybe he was angry about getting a call in the middle of the night.

Sorry, a driver from your company came to the hospital. He did not want to reveal his name. He has a food allergy and is still in the emergency room. The Hongqi car he came in is still on the way."

He had been listening quietly for a while, but as soon as he heard the name of the vehicle, I felt that he was nervous.

"What hospital is he in now? Who are you then? How long has it been since you arrived at the hospital? Is the car still there?" he asked.

Even though I hated bosses more interested in A vehicle than the employee, I said I would send the necessary information via text message.

Such incidents are not surprising in a world where everything is based on money.

So, I decided to pay his hospital admission fee even though I had a little money.

When I sent the information, I received a text message telling me not to inform anyone about this and that he would come to the hospital as soon as possible and wait until then. Perhaps he was the personal driver of the president.

He was admitted to a nearby private hospital but could be transferred to a cheaper one after initial treatment.

So, I immediately went to the hospital's payment counter to pay the admission fees.

I entered my details in the forms and paid the required amount. Then, I decided to wait until he gained consciousness.

A nurse who came to me immediately said that he was out of danger and that I could go to him if necessary.
