I’ll Protect You Always, Jiminie

"Jiminie wait—" the King said but Erasthai wasn't having any of it.

Instead, he walked past the King in the opposite direction and tried to follow the path that they had used to get to where they were. It was clean, but the maggots were slowly filling them up.

It was all so disgusting and scary as fuck, but the Alpha was determined to prove that he could do without breakfast and even without the man who trapped him in there.

It was a crazy decision, but then what else could he do when he wasn't even able to get through to the barbarian?

"I'll see you later. I'm not hungry anymore. You can come and fuck me if you want. I'll be in my room," the Alpha said, adding the last bit angrily.

"If… if I let you carry me, will you eat breakfast with me? Well, it's technically dinner… but will you join me at the table?" the King asked, and Alpha Park stopped in his tracks. He hadn't been expecting this.

Was he really that important to the King or was he just playing games with his heart and soul again?

"What?"

"That's not an answer, my beautiful."

"I'll join you if you let me clean you up and nurse you back to health," Alpha Park said defiantly and for a moment, the King wondered what the hell the Alpha was playing at.

However, considering the odds, he knew he had to make a choice and fast, because the maggots were closing the path and he didn't let his Erasthai freak out even more.

"You mean that?" the Alpha asked worriedly. He hated seeing people in pain and more than anything, he hated seeing the man he hated in pain. It forgave him and made him want to find out who had dared to hurt the King.

He wanted answers because there was just no way that the man could have just stood willingly and let him be thrashed when he was the deadliest creature in the realm. There had to be something else.

'Why am I even thinking of that?' Alpha Park asked himself as he shook his head, like that was supposed to erase how angry he was that the man who had raped him, was in extreme pain and not asking for help.

Perhaps he was crazy, but then wasn't the universe already crazy for parging the two of them up? What kind of bond was this even supposed to be?

"Just this once, Jiminie. But only if you promise to eat with me," the King said and the Alpha Park stared at him with furrowed brow, like he wasn't buying the act or was probably displeased by something.

"Isn't that enough for you, my beautiful?" the King asked his angry Erasthai.

"Once means today. But today is almost over and today isn't enough for your wounds to heal. I don't accept that deal. I'm going to my room," the Alpha said, as the King wondered what he had gotten himself into.

"I thought you hated me?" the King said with a mocking sound and this time, Alpha Park let out a laugh. He knew what the King was doing, and unfortunately for the barbaric King, it wasn't going to work.

"I do. I hate you so much that I want you dead, Agust. But only by my hands, not someone else's, and not a minute before. So, it's either I nurse you back to health, or we have no deal," Alpha Park said and the King sighed.

This was going to be more complicated than he had expected.

In all his life, he had never met this type of hatred. It was new and wild, and yet fascinating at the same time.

How could a person hate him so much and still want to nurse him back to health? Or was the Alpha sick? Was it the odor that was messing with him?

Oh, how the King wanted to ask that, but the man before him looked like he was waiting for the mighty King to say something, other than what they were to talk about. So, the King truly considered his options and gave the Alpha an answer.

"Fine. I'll let you nurse me to health, carry me, or whatever the fuck is going on in your head. But if you tell this to anyone, I will kill them and erase them from everyone's memories," the King said and Alpha Park gulped.

Of course, he knew this wasn't going to be easy, but goodness, this King was a pain in his ass.

'You liked him the last time he was ramming into both your holes, mister. He's vulnerable right now, you could undress him and ride that big dick swinging under that robe and he wouldn't fight you.

Or maybe wrap your lips on his shaft. Doesn't look bloodied or messed with, that one,' a subconscious thought intruded the Alpha's mind, making the man shriek, and get the King alert once again.

"What happened? Are you hurt? Is something the matter?" King Agust asked, dropping the spine he had been using for support and rushing towards his Erasthai who had let out a shriek.

"I—"

"Jiminie… you're blushing," the King stared confusedly. This alpha would truly be the death of him at this rate.

"I am not. Come on, hop on my back, and let's get out of this dirty place,'' Alpha Park said as he looked at the King standing before him, even though the Alpha's Eyes were somewhat focused on the King's groin.

It was so obvious what he had been thinking about, and at that, the King just smirked, not wanting to get into more trouble. Feeding his Erasthai was proving to be a little too hard and confusing as hell.

"You tell me if I'm heavy alright?" the King said as he walked behind his Erasthai and hopped on the back that was waiting for him.

He wasn't sure what this meant, and he didn't want to think of it. So, he stayed silent, a little too silent for a King who had been ready to ruin things with his mind.

"Trust me this time, Xiao Xiao," Alpha Park said and the King just groaned as he let himself sleep on his Erasthai's back. Thankfully the spell he had cast earlier had made it easier for the Alpha to see where he was going and to even clear the paths to where they were headed.

When they reached the level of the house where the breakfast table was, Alpha Park realized the King was sleeping on his back, so he opted to lay the King on one of the couches in the huge room. It looked more like a resting room than a dining room. But that didn't seem to matter right now, because the couch did fit the King very well.

"You look handsome in your sleep," Alpha Park whispered before he grabbed a shoal and covered the King with it. He then proceeded to sit at the table where the food was. He may have seen enough discovering things today, but he was hungry.

There was a kitchen in the dining room, which didn't seem to surprise the Alpha, so he set up a fire, and warmed the food, before he sat there in silence, eating his food while he watched the King sleep so harmlessly.

He looked so beautiful and fluffy like a Siberian cat; it was almost impossible to tell that this man was the devil himself.

For hours Alpha Park watched as the King slept peacefully, occasionally twitching in his sleep.

This could have been his chance to run away, but instead, the Alpha carried one of the couches and put it next to the King's couch, before lying beside him. It was a crazy idea, but he knew it.

Alpha Park Jimin was very aware that this was out of the ordinary, but he found comfort beside King Agust. He loved being here even though it was just the second day of his kidnap.

Maybe he would find a way to get out of this, but until then, he would keep himself sane and warm with him, even if the man was bloodied as fuck.

"I know I'll regret this, but it's alright," the Alpha said as he wrapped an arm around the King as if to tell him that he wasn't leaving. Was that supposed to make him feel any better because of his decision to not make a run for it?

Was it supposed to make his life easier when he wasn't even sure his warriors were safe from the King? Who was he kidding anyway, his warriors were dead. It was the only way there was no life around here.

"Goodnight, Xiao Xiao. I'll be here when you wake up," Alpha Park said as he scooted closer to the King, ignoring the blood on the King and the stench of death in the castle.

He fell asleep not long after, but somewhere between, he could have sworn he heard the King whisper something.

"I'll protect you always, Jiminie… Forgive me for how I approached you. Someday, you will understand," the King had said.

But maybe the Alpha was hallucinating or dreaming, right?

What if, though?
