A Hard Pill To Swallow

Three days ago, all that Alpha Park could think of were the alliances he needed to create so that he would be able to protect his people. He would then think of the training procedures and how to make his army a better one in the kingdom.

The only things he ever had in mind were the battlefield and his warriors protecting their borders from Lycan invasions. He would then go back to his little sister and read her a book so she could fall asleep. It was a beautiful routine.

Three days ago, the Kiyoto pack, which had never been invaded, had been invaded and the worst part of it was that the only warriors that were captured were the ones protecting the alpha. The warriors who forced the alpha's guard.

They were easily the strongest wolves in the realm, but then what use were mere wolves against the devil of devils himself? What use was a team of warriors when the king of all evil had made a sudden show in the kingdom and had his eyes set on the princess-like alpha in the middle?

Three days ago, all the alpha had, was just his usual routine, a routine that had kept him and his people safe. But then the devil just had to come and force the alpha to break routine, something that was so strange, for a king who had never attacked packs before.

The only thing he ever did was mess with wolves outside pack boundaries and murder them in the name of fun then leave them there. It was always that simple, but maybe, with Alpha Park nothing was simple, and it wasn't because of power.

The mad king had all the power in the world.

"I'll be fine, right?" Alpha Park said to himself as he tried to think back to the things that happened in the past three days. He had been watching the sunsets and by far, he had seen three of them.

Maybe that was a crazed way to keep himself sane, but with the devil up so close, the only thing the alpha could do was hope to the goddess that in the end, everything would be worth it, and he would be able to go home, unharmed.

Oh, how those were just simple impossible fantasies right now.

"Fuck," he whimpered as he tried to move himself from the door. It was suddenly all too much and his broken wrists weren't even snapping back to place because of how intense the king's throw had been.

It was almost like the alpha had just been a piece of paper for the king to play with. But was that it? Or was that supposed to explain the horrors the king had put him through, in barely an hour? Was any of that supposed to be fair in any way?

"I said STOP!"

"If you haven't realized it yet, you're whoring yourself on me."

"Are you deaf? I said get off me, whore!"

"You're so weak… You little deprived slut."

"I will line up with Lycans… That fucked cunt… Free-to-use pussies there, huh?"

King Agust's words were pure venom to the Alpha's beautiful ears, and for the first time, the Alpha wished so desperately that he had been born differently. Everyone he interacted with always ended up saying the same thing about him.

They always called him a slut, a free-to-use pussy, they called him a whore, and many more names that had stuck in his mind like a cycle of hell.

Granted, they never succeeded in de-virgining him, but it hurt a lot, to hear the same words from the man who had touched him first. A man he had hoped was on his side, and a man who had professed his love on the first day, despite the Alpha telling him he hated him.

They all hated him in the end.

"Perhaps this is the price I pay for having a cunt unlike the normal Alpha wolves huh?" the broken Alpha whispered to himself as he dragged his feet towards his room. He wasn't sure where this room was really, but he had to get away.

Looking behind him, the Alpha sighed at the scent of his blood, cum and his arousal. He hated that up to the last minute, he had still yearned for Agust's touch. He hated that despite being treated harshly, his wolf was pleading with him to forgive the King, in the name of them being mates.

Alpha Park hated that. He knew he didn't have much of a choice here but for the moment, he figured he could crawl to wherever room the door would open because then he would know that that was his room.

Maybe he would wake up feeling better tomorrow and he would have forgotten about the horrors of today.

"I'll just rest for a minute," Alpha Park said thirty minutes later when he had crawled and left his blood stain along the way and still hadn't even managed to get to where he was going.

He was too weak and his body was hurting, not to mention he had migraines and his heart felt like it was breaking ten-fold. It was almost like the universe had finally gotten done with him and they wanted him gone, something that Alpha Park was more than willing to take on.

So, without even looking around anymore, a tired Alpha Park lay on the stairs he currently was at, in the hope of getting some rest. He couldn't feel his limbs and there was only so much he could crawl in his state anyway.

As the Alpha gave in to the darkness, he hoped that his dreams would be better, but then it was a lie. Nothing in his life was getting any better. If anything, the moment he closed his eyes and tried to sleep, he was sent back to one of the worst moments of his life.

He was back to a nightmare that he should have woken up from, but a nightmare that had happened to him, one that had shattered his will to live and one that had tempted his desire to take his own life more than once.

Oh, but it was his worst nightmare, the one that made his kidnapping by Agust look like a pat on the wrist.

"No, please, no!" Alpha Park tried to scream at himself, to stop the replay of his nightmare.

However, just like the other hundred times he had faced the same nightmare, he was as weak as he could be. He couldn't fight. He couldn't defend himself despite being the strongest werewolf and the most powerful Alpha in the realm.

His power always proceeded useless when it came to this particular nightmare, and defeatedly, the poor Alpha gave in once again; having to replay the worst moment of his life while hoping that someone would save him.

"Help me, please," the Alpha whimpered as he saw his father, Park Dae Hee's face smiling devilishly at him, with a baseball bat in his hands. Alpha Park knew so well what was going to happen with the bat, but he tried to call for help.

Perhaps this time, just this once, someone would save him before his father defiled him with the bat while the elders of the council watched his seven-year-old self being ruthlessly torn into pieces by his father.

But then there was no one coming... Or was there?

"Fucking hell."
