Shoes Filled With Water

[JIMINIE]

"Hello there, Agust's Prince consort," Kim So Hee greeted enthusiastically as she looked at Jiminie who had taken a sharp break. If he hadn't been skilled with horses, Jiminie would have fallen right off and his horse could have been hurt.

The woman before him didn't seem familiar, even though her scent was for the Lycans. That itself made Jiminie wonder if this was just another Lycan who had come after him like Berto had.

She was a woman, so surely she didn't come to defile him too, right? But then there was a lot the woman could do to him and Jiminie considered letting it all happen.

However, he was a powerful werewolf alpha and just because Berto had subdued him in the Lycan kingdom didn't mean he would let this female Lycan have her way with him too. He would fight until he couldn't get any more.

And he wouldn't seek Agusts's help, right?

"You're prettier than the rumors say about you," So Hee spoke again and Jiminie just pat his horse and got ready to saddle into the sunset. He didn't care what this woman wanted and if she wanted him, then she had to know that he wouldn't go down easily.

"Yah!" Jiminie shouted and his horse began galloping.

Jiminie didn't have the time to stand there and make small talk with strangers who would probably try to screw him up as easily. He didn't need that at the moment, not when he was reading himself or the Lycan invasion.

"Fucking hell," So Hee sighed frustratedly as she began running after the horse. She could tell that Jiminie wasn't going to stop for her so she ran around him, going the same speed as his horse until the alpha was back at the gates of Kiyoto.

So Hee wasn't even tried when they got back and they had been at it for almost an hour any regular Lycan could have been tired, however powerful they were and that got Jiminie curious.

Maybe this was some woman who was interested in Agust and had come after him because she wanted to warn him. Maybe she had come to tell him to let Agust go and that there would never be anything between the both of them.

Well, if it had been Jiminie's wish, he wouldn't have let Agust mark him, or even let himself mark Agust. But then fate had to have other plans for them because they were now trapped in some sort of entanglement Jiminie couldn't quite get out of.

"You can have him. You are a strong warrior, not to mention you're clearly a Lycan. If you want Xiao Xiao you can have him… he's yours. I guess that makes your mission here complete, no?

"Don't worry about me coming after him," Jiminie said as he got off the horse.

He didn't want the wolves to see the Lycan at the gates of Kiyoto because that would raise so many questions especially now that he had given them the choice to leave Kiyoto and seek safer spaces.

He wouldn't blame his wolves though, because this in itself was ludicrous. Jiminie had never thought there would come a day when he would be a challenge for a woman when it came to a man. Oh, how the universe was fucked up a little.

But was that what the world they lived in wanted?

"What?" So Hee asked, the confusion clear on her face. She couldn't believe this was happening. Of the things she had expected, this had to be the last of her list, hell it wasn't even part of the list and somehow she was facing that predicament.

"Aren't you here for Agust? Isn't that why you started with me being his prince consort? You can have them if you want them. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a pack to run and protect from the likes of you," Jiminie said as he went through the gates, leaving a shocked So Hee at the gates.

She wanted to follow him in and explain herself, but she had a feeling that this wasn't a good time. Maybe she would come back at a later time, when Jiminie was ready to talk. Defeatedly, So Hee went back home, to the Lycan king.

"You're back a little early," Lee Tang greeted his best friend who had just left the house at the stables. Jiminie looked bothered and disturbed and he couldn't believe that this was happening to him.

He had been kidnapped by the bastard and now he had Lycan warriors coming after him in the name of the same man? What the fuck was Agust on and why the fuck were his people that bold enough to come after Jiminie?

"I ran into a Lycan. Who likes Agust," Jiminie said and Lee Tang stared at his best friend, jaw on the ground as he tried to comprehend whatever the fuck was going on. Surely, his best friend didn't mean what he meant, right?

"Oh shit, the plot thickens huh?'' Lee Tang said excitedly like he was expecting Jiminie to start talking about what had happened and Jiminie signed. His best friend was useless sometimes.

Instead of being worried about the Lycans, Lee Tang was more interested in what the woman had told him and how they had gotten to that point.

How the fuck was Jiminie even supposed to explain that to his excited best friend without coming off as a jealous man? Goddamn, this is getting harder than he had anticipated.

"She ran beside my horse until I was done. Do you know how crazy you gotta be to run at the same speed as a racing horse? And then she called me the prince consort, as if that were supposed to make me feel any better," Jiminie whined as they walked towards the packed house.

He was mad that this had happened and he was angry at himself that he hadn't been able to say anything substantial to the woman who had shown up.

He had wanted to tell her that Agust was his and would never choose anyone, but then Jiminie couldn't even do that, because he didn't know Agust well. Besides, the devil himself couldn't be stopped by just one werewolf.

And now that Jiminie had made a run back home, Agust was free to take on whoever he wanted. Goddess, that shit was screwing with Jiminie's head.

He hated how fragile this thing made him be and he hated the fact that no matter how hard he wanted to pretend that it was alright, nothing would even be alright.

He wanted Agust.

He lived for Agust.

He loved Agust and as much as all rationality was holding him back, Jiminie wanted to go back to the Lycan palace and have his guts turned inside out by Agusts's skilled dick.

He was desperate for Agust and he wished he could go back, but then with his father dead, he had to be the alpha because his mother wasn't a good ruler. Fuck this was not what he had planned on.

But then him slicking up at every thought of Agust hadn't been the plan either or had it?

"Maybe you should have listened to what she had to say?" Lee Tang said as he looked at his worried best friend. He knew Jiminie well and he knew that the jealousy would cloud his mind which wasn't good for the people of Kiyoto.

"What the fuck does that even mean?" Jiminie asked confusedly.

"I found this on your office desk. It's an official invitation for the wolves to go to the mating ceremony with the Lycans in the unclaimed lands," Lee Tang said and Jiminie grabbed the letter and read the invitation.

This right here may have been a harmless invite, but the fact that it was coming from the Lycans was a no for Jiminie. He wasn't going to put the lives of his people on the line just because Agust thought it was best for them to try this out.

The wolves had been hunted by Lycans for years on end and there was no telling that the wolves wouldn't be food or even simple kills for the Lycans who wanted to murder wolves for sport.

The entire realm had been ridden with wolves and the only ones left were the Kiyoto wolves who had only ever survived because Park Jimin was a force to be reckoned with.

"No. They are not going anywhere. Tell them we decline the invite. Also, this could be all the more reason that woman made a show here, to warn me against coming close to her Agust," Jiminie said angrily as he ran a finger through his hair.
