Treating the Doll with the Bare Minimum

It was pretty late when they finished eating.

Or rather, when Evan finished eating. Once he finished his meal, he washed his plate, even when Eternity told him she'd do it for him.

"You already cooked, Eternity," Evan said, shaking his head as he rubbed the sponge on the plate in a circular motion. It reminded him of an action that required him to make a similar motion, but he immediately dismissed the thought. "The least I can do is wash my plate."

"For a self-proclaimed misogynist," Eternity said, looking quite impressed. "You're not acting the part."

He shrugged.

"Don't get me wrong," he said, turning off the faucet after rinsing his plate and eating utensils. "I believe women should know how to cook like it's supposed to be an innate skill. But so do men."

Eternity gestured for him to continue, looking quite impressed with his words.
