Doll's Weird Hypnotic Whatever

Eternity didn't pay the other Holz any mind. She was too happy with what she just heard. Her heart, which she was not sure if it actually existed, felt like it started thumping loudly at her chest because of Evan's words.

She turned to face him fully, her expression softening as she met his gaze.

He might not have said that he loved her directly, but for now, this was enough.

Evan walked towards the two ladies before standing by Eternity's side.

"Eternity is nowhere close to being a user," he said to Cynthia. "She's not after my money or status. We have a genuine connection, and she made me feel things that I thought I wasn't capable of feeling."

Cynthia's disbelief seemed to give way to a hint of realization. She studied her brother's face, unsure what to make out of it—if it was just another set of lies or if Evan was finally telling the truth.
