Head in the Clouds

"Eternity?" A familiar voice called out. "Earth to Eternity?"

Eternity blinked, finding herself standing in front of Evan's table while holding (surprisingly) a few pieces of folders.

Sitting on his office chair was Evan, who had a look of worry on his face.

"Are you okay?" He asked, a crease forming on his forehead. This line, she noticed, had become more prominent as of late. "You've got your head in the clouds for quite a few days now."

Eternity sighed, placing the few folders in her hand on Evan's table.

"I just can't help but feel bothered by J's words last time," she admitted, her expression evidently crestfallen.

"The one where he told you to be wary of Jakob?" Evan asked.

Eternity nodded, her hands unknowingly balled into a fist by her side.

"I don't know what to make of it."
